Onto my second year in the community. Pretty pleased with the staff here in general. Maintenance/repair service is stress free and timely. Greatly appreciate Marvin who responded to my emergency request for AC unit issue today and made the trip within hours even after COB, problem quickly solved. I recently moved to the DC area and into Avalon Mosaic. I knew I wanted to be with in walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and retail, this hasn't disappointed. I absolutely love my new space, its clean and up to date with modern amenities! The admin staff have been very attentive and responsive to all my requests. Shout out to Dana and Emma who have made the process of signing, paying and move in seem less.
I anticipate my time at Avalon will be like home!

Moved in this month, and Avalon and Ian (Francisco) made sure it was smooth sailing even though there were a few initial hiccups regarding the apt.
Ian made sure our move (moving cross country) was hassle free, by updating on any information we requested on phone/email asap. He did a fantastic job, and his communication/people skills are excellent. These are rare qualities in the renting scene and it was a pleasure meeting him.

Although I don't live here, i recently toured Avalon Mosaic and thought the experience was good enough to post a review. The apartment itself seems very nice. They have new appliances and great countertops/kitchen setups. More importantly however was my experience with the staff. After touring many apartment buildings, the experience we had with Ian was unparalleled. Ian was extremely friendly, helpful, an knowledgeable. He even gave us two great restaurant recommendations in the area. If you're interested in living at Avalon Mosaic, I would definitely ask for a tour with Ian.

I've lived here for a few weeks now and have been very pleased with my experience. The building, and mosaic district itelf, is very new and it shows. Everything is very modern and in excellent condition. The area is made for walking with many fine restaurants and bars. The building itself is very clean and modern and fits in with the mosaic community. I love my apartment. It's well buillt with an interesting design with many fine amenities. Lastly, the staff is very nice and responsive. You get all this for a fair price.
Update: After a year they increased my rent around 7 percent. They have also started charging for overnight parking, a policy they started out of nowhere. Feel like the Avalon company is greedy which is too bad since I love the building, apt, and staff.

Emily and the front office staff is professional and courteous and answers any questions I may have. I recommend it to all my friends. I can't think of anything I'd change, other than have a few more machines in the weight room, but of 100 things you look for in an apartment that's like #93!

Hands down the best living experience I've had in an apartment. Everything starts with the staff from leasing to maintenance. They are here to truly make your life easy. Next is the incredible amenities, to the point where you honestly don't even need to leave the property (gym, pool, games, etc). The cherry on top is the location. Walking distance in Mosaic to tons of restaurants, shops and more. It's like living your life in a luxury hotel. If you're in the market for a new apartment, I really wouldn't look anywhere else.

Great location - my husband and I love being able to walk to grab breakfast or dinner. Parking could be better when the same vehicles stay in the same spot for months, but you can't do much about that. We love the new Amazon hub - that has been HUGE with packages and not having to go to leasing office. When we first moved in our neighbors were really noisy, but I think they moved shortly after we got in. The walls can be a little thin and the rent keeps increasing every year, but overall we have really enjoyed our stay here!
