Great apartment community! I have lived here over two years during my stay in El Paso, TX. The front office staff which consists of Karrina, Erica and Erica Honesto the Property Manager have done a great job in making me feel so at home and comfortable. A Gated community and quiet place. I am military who was stationed on Fort Bliss so getting to work in the morning was about a 15 minute drive, if you worked on the East part of Bliss. I enjoyed my stay here at The Cottages. Nice spacious apartments! Excellent staff! Thanks for having me as a resident!

Weve been here for over a year and plan to stay for another year because we love it! The apartment was in amazing condition when we moved in (with new carpeting yay!). We did have an issue with the A/C our first summer. I placed a work order ticket in the morning, they reset the controller by noon and they checked before the day was done to see if it worked (it didnt), so they installed a whole new controller in 5 minutes. Amazing service!
Everyone in the office is so sweet and helpful. They constantly have events such as a blood drive, raffles, an Easter egg hunt, and pool parties to kick off the summer.
There is a problem with guests using the recycling bin for trash and owners not picking up after their pets. But I understand theres not much the office can do beyond reminding residents what the rules are.
We live upstairs and the only real noise issue is when our downstairs neighbor slams his door shut.
So far, no pest problems. They spray for those every 3 months.
The grass is kept in great condition all year round, I love the location of the apartments and it is definitely worth the price.

Ive been here for my first week so far and I absolutely love it. The entire leasing process went as smooth as it can go and I couldnt have asked for a more professional and polite team of ladies helping me the entire way. Karina is the leasing professional that helped me and she did a phenomenal job. She stayed in constant communication with me and never skipped a beat with any question I might have had. The apartment I leased was in very near perfect shape and I couldnt have asked for anything better. Id recommend The Cottages to anyone that is interested.

Lived here for a just over 1.5 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. They made it easy to live there and easy to move when the time came. No issues with getting our deposit back either after we moved which was something I always worried about as a renter. Maintenance was AMAZING as well. Whenever their was an issue from the dishwasher not working to the hall light going out, they were always there to fix it ASAP. Would definitely recommend to anyone (especially military) that wants a stress free, safe place to rent.

Only problem was the small kitchen but it's manageable and worth the living. We had new carpet put in so it was comfortable for an OCD lol. The price for us was $830 because of a promotion but the original was $930. Never had any problems with staff or maintenance really.
To much requirements to lease besides the expensive rents just want to "rent" not buy the whole property !

The walls are paper thin and there isn't much of a walking path to walk your dogs. I unfortunately had horrible upstairs neighbors, they were loud and had a dog that would bark non-stop. I woke up a couple times to the sounds of drunk yelling and fighting. If I had known how thin the walls were I would have taken an upstairs unit. I never really heard my neighbors beside or behind me. The walking paths are really strange-I found myself walking in the roads more than anything. I also with they would enforce the rule of resident picking up after their dogs. Dogs waste is not only gross to smell and step in but it spread disease.

I would recommend Danielle as your rep to help you. She is very knowledgeable and very patient. This complex houses mostly military, but open to all. More to say but I will leave it as is. Cons: small space
Expensive, no play area for kids other than a pool. Not very private , not insulated well, you can hear everything. Parking is a battle. Covered parking no one pays for but still people park there and park in your paid reserved spot. Its your responsibility to call a tow truck to move them. Never seen courtesy officer patrol grounds. Lots of dogs that people don't claim and poop iseft every where.
Pros: maintenance staff is great and polite. Hard workers

I absolutely love this apartment complex as well as the ladies in the front office. Haven't had much of a bug issue and the grass is watered multiple times a day (to keep it green year round). The few times I've made a complaint with the front office, some one was out the next day to help resolve my issue. Owning a pet here was a bit pricey but I'd say it's worth it. The street address doesnt show up on some GPS systems which can be a pain at times. All in all I couldn't ask for much more out a place to live, very satisfied
Such beautiful apartments. The staff and customer service is second to none. They care about each individual resident. I highly recommend living at this community!
