We lived here for two years,recently moved out in May.. had minor issues concerning neighbors below us but Claudine was always helpful in that area. The only things we hated while living here were parking, Monday through Thursday's which we made sure we were home and staying put by no later than 7pm.saturdays were never an issue cuz everyone was out partying lol.sundays we had to make sure we were home by 3 pm other wise there were no parking what so ever. And we only had one car! We never parked near the yellow lines,was always afraid to what might happen to our vehicle.
They have a cam fee that they fail to tell you about,that you pay monthly with your utility bill.That money goes to picking up trash, mowing the lawn,shoveling snow,laying salt down etc. basically all the tenants are paying for Loretto heights image .
We also hated that as the months went on, the utility bill went up. Summer is always the worst with utilities because of so much water being used with the pools.our last months utility was the highest we had ever seen since being there.
Luckily we cleaned the place up real good! We didn't owe nothing but got a small check back .if you know anyone who does carpet cleaning, I would advise you to get them to do your carpet when u move out.note: make sure u get a receipt, Loretto heights will want that for records.also make sure when u move out, that u clean the place so good that there is No body hair left behind, your place basically needs to be " immaculate" so to speak.i know crazy! Keep in mind they charge for almost anything broken when u move out. And one more thing! Make sure you patch up your nail holes from any pictures/home decor,that'll save you some cash also.
Anyhow I hope this helps someone out.for the most part the PARKING issue definitely needs work,or Loretto heights is going to start losing not only tenants but money as well. We stayed in building 1 apt 301 I hope who ever got this apartment enjoys it , cuz I sure miss it. I kept it pretty clean- cuz Im a neat freak like that lol. Never had caca roaches or bed bugs, just little hungry ants that would wonder in during the summer but not a biggie and occasionally a spider from time to time.

Overall my experience at Loretto Heights has been above board. Any complex has it's issues and largely all of mine have been handled with grace and in a timely manner. From unknown electrical issues to my siding glass door they make sure their residents are taken care of. The only unfortunate issue of these apartments are fellow residents and there's only so much management can do. I do share the sentiment that permit parking would make the property much better.

After living here for three years I guess I can leave I good review for once. Hasn't always been the best but as of my last run In With maintenance I can say it was a good one. Took the 3 years to find a crew that can actually put in work.these guys have called me every time they want to enter my unit. And ever time I get home after a work order they are done correct. One of the maintenance guys had got there as I was getting home he had work orders for every apartment in my building lined up door by door doing it how it should be done 5 stars for that guy. I had 72 hours to move, I called Loretto Heights and Jen was prompt to assist and scheduled a time for me to come in and take a look at the apartment homes. When I came in Matt was nothing less than FANTASTIC in helping me find the perfect unit at the perfect price for me. He even called around to local sister properties to check and see what they had. We got all the paperwork done and I was able to move into a CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL apartment home the next day. It was such a blessing in a stressful time and i was so worried i was going to be without a home and the management here stepped in and took excellent care of me and everything was so perfect. This is a wonderful place to live and the management is even better. They are genuine people that take care of people. LEASE WITH LORETTO!!!! DO IT! TODAY!

Finally have some parking spaces now that the gates are closed (which I dont think should be closed) however I still think that can definitely improve. Like idk assigned parking spaces? Most families here have 4+ cars per household and kinda makes it hard for the people who only have 2 cars for the household. Me personally think we should only be allowed 2 parking spaces and any extra cars should park else where that's just my oppion. Anyway The maintenance men are amazing dont ever lose them! Those boys put up with a lot! And they still manage to smile at the end of the day!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. First of all there is high gang activity. The front sign was tagged, which was fixed in a week but we've been asking since march to have the water hammer in our shower fixed. Cars have been tagged. Multiple cars have been stolen including our downstairs neighbor's which when uncovered a few blocks away was proven to be used in gang crimes in the week it was gone and filled with weapons. Unless you live in the two buildings closest to the gate there is no parking after 8pm. When I park away from my building someone smears oriental lettering all over my car windows with their fingers every time. They get you in with barely fixing the place up enough to look good to get you to move in. Within a week everything will fall apart. Most of the apartments don't have accent wall or ice makers or other fancy things that they try and reel you in with. They paint the bathtubs and sinks which will start chipping in a week, towel rack, dishwasher, washers and dryers, blinds, are all cheaply held together and break easily, keep in mind we are two adults in a one bedroom with no kids, and our neighbors with no kids have the same problems. The plumbing is horrible. There's trash everywhere. They have bolted shut the middle hallways so they are no longer usable. The cameras haven't worked in 3 years. They've left furniture and washers and dryers outside for weeks. They never fix anything. Yet they can afford Xboxes,PlayStations , and Broncos tickets to give away. Unsupervised children run around everywhere. Good luck getting centurylink, which they advertise as their preferred internet provider. They couldn't plug in our neighbors because the node is over loaded and they unplugged us twice trying to plug others in! There's so much wrong with the place it was even on the news. The worst thing of all is it's too expensive to break the lease so we have to grit our teeth until it's up.

By far, I think the management here is ok except there are the new girl in the office who only cared about her prospective customers. I went to the office to pick up my package and the girl made me wait 15 minutes although she did nothing when the other customers discussed. On Sunday, I came to the office around 3:45pm (and the closing time is 4:00pm) to drop my pay rent check and she was there talking to other customers and surprisingly, she locked the door. Although I knocked on the door, she pretended she didn't see or hear me at all.

This place is an absolute rip off to the max and not worth it! What the hell am I paying for? A lack of parking (seriously, whoever engineered the amt of spaces/per apt needs to go back to school). Good luck not encountering a skunk on your mile long walk in the poorly lit shadows with creepy mariachi eyes undressing you as you walk by. Regret moving in here and now i have to stick it out until next summer, seriously screw you loretto heights lower my rent or provide something actually worth it! Do not recommend to live here. I have been living here for a year out of necessity, at first it was nice, having the pool available for our children and the other commodities,but now is just getting ridiculous. starting with the police coming every week for different incidents, then the rent just went up by about $200 if we want to renew our contract and stay, after it is 1600 already for our 2 bedroom, 2 bath.. but the most ridiculous, insulting thing is that we are not longer allowed to park the cargo trailer we own inside the parking lot (construction trailer, 12 x 8)

I awoke this morning to my car window bashed in as well as my cousin's, who lives with me. This is after, mind you, myself, my wife, and my cousin have all 3 experiences each of our cars being burglarized. WE HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN HERE A FULL YEAR. We pay $75 a month for camera charges that they don't want to waste their time pulling video from when crime does occur. We pay for our own pest control $80 a month because our "newly remodeled unit" was ingested with roaches. Before we even moved anything in we found 6 dead roaches in the fridge, on the floor, etc. They didn't even bother to try and hide them. The trash cans are ALWAYS overflowing, bed bug infested mattresses are typically taking up the space. I would never in a million years recommend this place.

I feel horrible doing this as I have never writen a bad review, but it has been short of a month since I moved in here and literally its been one thing right after the other:
(1) No available parking in the evening. When I have addressed this issue, I was told that IT IS okay to park near the yellow curbs as long as its not red. Well, I did and my car got towed. It cost $280 to get my car back and after a couple emails, phone calls, and personally coming in to the office NOTHING has been done except being told that they doubt the staff would have said that.
(2) You are basically paying high end prices to live in a comunity that feels like Little Mexico.
I am definitely the minority. I have lived in some crazy areas in South Florida and feel the least comfortable here. No bueno! :(
(3) You hear EVERYTHING! Strong bass from Mexican music woke me up before 6:30 this morning and has kept me up through all crazy hours even leading up to 4:30am. Hence I felt obligated to write this review.
(4) Issues paying online. This went from the site not showing I paid so then I ended up over paying back to needing to pay more. I dont see this being a recurring issue since I wont be using it again, but I think it could have been explained better.
(5) Maintenance. From tons of mold in the freezer to broken appliances to unsafe nail heads sticking out of the porch flooring and clogged drains- I dont feel like they did a walk through before making it "lease" ready.
Pros:
The staff for the most part has been kind.
The maintance guy is sent out in a reasonable time frame.
The apartment unit is pretty nice. :)
Unfortunately, I do not see myself living here for the remainder of my lease which means a lot more money is going to be wasted. The fact that I am loosing sleep between my neighbors music and worrying if my car is getting towed AGAIN plus not feeling comfortable in the area in its self- paying almost $1,500 for a one bedroom unit is just NOT worth it!

There is not enough parking due to the fact that some apartments have so many people living in them to pay the overprice rent. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing and kids run wild throughout the complex. Management has a sneaking way of adding charges to your water and gas bill to pay for their expenses of running the pool in the summer time. Do not trust this management team, they will cheat you any way they can. Management does not return deposit refunds in a timely manner, still waiting and it has been over 60 days.

My husband and I moved into a 'newly renovated' unit, and at first glance it's nice, but unfortunately I think that corporate rushes workers through apartment turnaround so that they don't have time to do a thorough job. Our bathroom linoleum wasn't dry yet, so when we walked on it, glue like stuff came squirting out between the flooring. As you start living in your unit, you notice half-ass construction all over the place, but like I said - I blame it on the fact that I'm pretty sure the workers had less than a day to completely renovate our unit!
Also, we renewed our lease recently ONLY BECAUSE we're moving out of state in about 5 months and didn't want to move out, just to turn around and move again...so we're sticking it out. But, as I was saying, when we renewed there was all of a sudden a new charge added to our monthly water bill which went from $40/month to $75/month!!! This extra $35 is supposedly for groundskeeping and snow plowing!??!? Well...take a look around, if every single unit is paying an additional $35/month, these grounds should be impeccable and the only thing I've EVER seen anyone do is I once saw the property manager driving around in their golf cart picking up wrappers in the parking lot with one of those stick retriever things............
I could literally go on and on about what everyone else has already mentioned, but this review is long enough.Basically, if you don't want to pay over $1,100 per month for 800 square feet of apartment that's right next to section 8 housing, then you might want to look somewhere else!!!!

You will soon find out that the apartments below average quality even though they charge you like your living in a luxurious Cherry Creek complex! When, not if, but when something breaks sure hope you know how to fix it because maintenance is non existent and management is rude and un-professional. AMC Management should really look into this office it's a shame it is run this way. When it snows the parking lot is never plowed and if your lucky your car wont get stuck. In one experience I had, I called the office to let them know water was gushing up from the sewer hole in the ground they said "we're on it" like they actually work.... two days later the entire parking lot is covered in ice and over 20 cars were stuck to the lot!!! ask them if they cared...Another incident I had it took them almost a week to come fix the fireplace which wasn't working kept feeling a draft coming in when the temp was below zero and frost had been developing on the doors to the fireplace! Upon moving out they charge you for everything under the sun even a cleaning charge although the apartment wasn't even clean when i first moved in, I literally had a drawer full of somebody else's stuff when I first moved in and they have the nerve to charge a cleaning charge...should've known then what i was getting myself into. To say the least, wish I was warned before moving into that dump!! Please do yourself and your family a favor...look elsewhere:)

This property is not ideal. Views are good, and for the area I felt safe walking to the garbage at night and whatnot. Rooms are spacious, but positives end there. You can hear every step and coffee grinder and tv in the apartment above or neighboring. Maintenance staff were nothing short of incompetent. Asked them to caulk the tub on moving in (this is such basic standard maintenance I was really surprised it hadn't been done already). They used caulk to tack down the peeling linoleum along the base of the tub, and ignored the molding black caulk along the rim (where the wall panels meet the tub). Also managed to get caulk on my rug and doorknob, which really honestly takes talent or supreme laziness. I just list this as an example of the typical response to a work order request.
Things did not improve upon moving out. I left the apartment as clean as it had been when I moved in, except for needing the standard carpet cleaning. The bill included charges ranging from $7 for a single light bulb to $40 for range pans, to $125 for repainting over the 6 or 7 nail holes I left in the walls. They also charged me for the cleaning staff's time, and when I inquired if I had left it abnormally dirty, they said they always charge for cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. "So really, that should be built in to the fees when you move in, right? " "No comment "
I was not a terribly picky tenant, I paid my bills on time and did not throw raucous parties. This company nickle and dimes you when you move in, again when you move out, and waits a month to change the xcel over to their name again, so you end up paying that too.

Overall I am very happy with living at Loretto Heights. My husband and I moved cross country and when our housing situation fell through we were desperate to find somewhere to stay. Betsy and the staff were very welcoming and made the transition as easy as possible. We live in a very quiet building with no noise issues. We have had a few maintenance issues, but they are always fixed the same day. I am so grateful to have found a nice place on such short notice.
