Lived here for a year. Loved the apartment itself. That being said Casa Cordova deserves zero stars because of the manager, Sharon. DO NOT MOVE TO THIS BUILDING! As other reviewers mentioned, she acts like a hall monitor and anytime you ask for something, it is as if you are interrupting her life. I was working with a small start-up company and we would meet every other Saturday morning for 2 hours, and used the community room to hold these small meetings. I was told after the second time I was no longer allowed to reserve the community room. No one wanted to use the room at 9am, and I gave a $300 deposit for 4 people to use this room for a meeting. I was not asking to have a party every Saturday night, or when others may want to use it. Sharon just didn't want to be bothered to put a sign on the community room door in the morning. I also have a service dog, that she despised. After 11 months living at Casa Cordova with zero complaints, I received a letter at my door stating they received complaints about my dog barking, and I would need to find a solution or I would be evicted. Seems a little fishy to me that my lease was ending and suddenly my dog was an issue. The parking spot I paid $50 a month for, in addition to my rent, happened to be close to the back door. I constantly had maintenance people (who were there consistently, so they knew it was an assigned spot) park in my parking spot. I let it go for awhile, but finally politely emailed Sharon about the issue. Her solution -- move my parking spot right next to the dumpster. Last, but not least, while moving out, Sharon told me I did not clean well enough and a cleaning fee, up to a few hundred dollars, would be taken out of my deposit. While I was honest about the oven not being as clean as it could be, I did scrub fans, windows, and even light switches. On her list of things not included, was the light switches and fans. I do not have an issue with the parent company Rozeboom and Company, as when I called to discuss my issue with Sharon and her trying to charge me a cleaning fee, the manager said she would personally inspect it. The manager said the apartment was clean, and I received my deposit back in full. I would have gladly remained living in my apartment, if it were not for a manager that makes you feel like an unwelcomed guest.

Did not find the property managers easy to get along with, which seems to be a common feeling in the building. Mike and Sharon will act nice to you in the beginning, but than become indifferent/demanding and act more like hallway monitors than helpful neighbors once you sign the lease. Beware their boarderline personality style of dealing with tennants and do not be surprised when you ask a question and get a very curt, rude or unhelpful response. They made me feel like any request for information was an intrusion into their life, and I learned that unfortunately the best option (and confirmed with others in my hallway), is to to not ask them anything unless absolutely necessary. Happily left as soon as my one year lease was up. Also, the train noise was very loud there... advise you be prepared for that.

The managers are awesome!! I'm sad to be moving out of state or I would rent here for as long as I could!
