Maintenance is doing what they can for us in unit, but the property as a whole needs more maintenance done. The entrance gate hasnt worked for more than a week at a time since I moved in April 2020. With all the shootings and crime up and down Vail street next to us, it is important to have a working gate.
Unfortunately getting qualified people to even apply for a maintenance position is probably a struggle, so I understand the extra time some maintenance requests take. That said, my wife does not feel safe anymore in this community. Further, lots of marijuana smokers in the area of our apartment. We understand times are changing on the matter, but as parents of two little ones, we find it rather disconcerting that the little communication we receive from the office primarily consists of what is and what is not considered an emergency maintenance request, calls to clear a back patio (that is an interior complex facing patio on the second floor that is not visible from anywhere but the adjacent buildings roof), and survey requests for maintenance issues that are not completely resolved yet.
All that said, the price is decent for the area, but there is a lot to improve on in this complex.
