The Chalet have semi decent apartments, but they're way overpriced. My rent was recently increased as well. The manager and receptionist have no regard for basic renters laws and they are generally unpleasant to work with. While moving from one apartment to another in a different building I was robbed by the people they hire to paint the walls. I was not notified before they let them in my apartment. I also unknowingly (and briefly) lived next door to a registered sex offender. The manager said that it wasn't their responsibility to notify everyone because the man wasn't on the lease, his girlfriend was only on the lease. (But if he wasn't on the lease why did they allow him to there?) I would recommend living anywhere else. There are also plenty of smaller problems, like the fact that the "walk in closet" doesn't even have rods in it to hang clothes up, and the shelves in the closet aren't hung with proper bolts so they can only hold a couple of pounds before they fall out. The refrigerator sometimes doesn't cool properly so food goes bad, and the laundry machines hardly wash anything. Also they dont ever clean the pool so it's too disgusting to use after a week of it being open.

Lived at the Chalet for 5 years went in to office in july to talk about new lease told rent would go up almost 100 dollars told David and his assistant that we would be moving by September now they want to charge me 1600 dollars for back rent what a bunch of theifs I gave them 60 day notice and cleaned the apartment oh we'll you will have to sue me to get it see you in court I will love yo tell the court about the wiring and plumbing and black mold in buildings

Here's my review about the chalet apartments....forget about anything that you read past about a year ago, the apartments are no longer the same, this place is really great, this was my first apartment when I moved in about 9 months ago, I had no one co sign and David worked with me to get me my own place here with a double security deposit, since then, my boyfriend has moved in with me, which they gladly welcomed him in and only needed an application from him, and we are now pregnant and due before the lease is up, we were concerned about getting a bigger place since we only had a one bedroom, I was scared to go talk to the managers but I shouldn't have been at all....Jessica was the best, she got us in a 2 bedroom for the same price were paying right now on our one bedroom, we didn't have to worry about finding another place and paying lots of fees, Jessica helped us out so much and I'm so excited, I'll gladly sign another lease when this one is up, she is a life saver and David is good at working with you as well, I have had a few times where we have been late paying the rent but they still worked with us, every time we go to talk to them I feel at home and this place is very clean, tidy, and it's great to have a nice pool right out your door, please come by and talk to the managers and see the place for yourself before trusting old reveiws on here, it's completely different in the best ways!

I have lived here for 6 months and would recommend it to anyone. I have had every maintenance issue solved within a day, absolutely no bugs, cockroaches, or ants; yard work is done every week and everything is brand new. When I go down to talk to Jessica and David, every question gets answered and I feel more at home every time. I plan to live here for multiple years!!
