Pet-Friendly Apartments in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Whether you’re a dog-lover, a cat lady, or the owner of an adorable miniature pig, it can be hard to find apartments that welcome both you and your pet. Luckily, Rentable allows users to filter properties by how friendly they are to you and your furry companions. You don’t have to resign yourself to living out in the country with your doggo, or wait until you own a house to live out your days with all of your cats. Here are four pet-friendly apartments in Milwaukee.

1.The Artistry Walker’s Point
The apartments in this restored, historic building in Walker’s Point range from studios to three-bedrooms, and feature attractive interiors: exposed Cream City brick, high ceilings, and large windows. For a $300 fee and an extra $35 a month, residents can have up to two pets, with a weight limit of 70 lbs total. The building is centrally located, just a few minutes from downtown Milwaukee and a short walk to the Historic Third Ward. It’s also a block away from the Hank Aaron Trail — perfect for taking your pup for an afternoon walk.

2. Jefferson Block Apartments

Apartments at this new complex aren’t cheap, but they’re luxuriously outfitted: brand-new fixtures, granite countertops, and decks overlooking the Third Ward. Young professionals love the location, close to Milwaukee Public Market and a number of the city’s best restaurants and bars. Pets will love it, too — it’s close to the Milwaukee River and the KK River Trail, which is perfect for dogs who like to jog, and the huge windows in each apartment are perfect for cats who like to sleep in the sun. There’s a one-time $300 fee for pets and a $25 increase in monthly rent, but there’s no weight limit.

3. London House

This Lower East Side building is colorful, modern, and pet-friendly. You’ll enjoy granite countertops, modern appliances, espresso-stained wood fixtures, and no utility bill. Your pet will love sliding around on the wood floors or sleeping in front of the large windows — or even hanging out on the balcony. Plus, you’ll be close to Gordon Park and the Milwaukee River, perfect for walks or jogs with Fido.

4. Latitude Apartments

These trendy studios and one-bedrooms are located in one of Milwaukee’s most vibrant neighborhoods for young professionals: The East Side. You’ll be minutes from Whole Foods and a host of other cafes, restaurants, and bars. And with covered parking, in-unit laundry, and a fitness center, you and your furry friend will be living the high life. (Just don’t try to put your dog onto a treadmill during the cold Wisconsin winter.)
