Review of the Oxford at County Club in Baytown I have been a resident for 1 year and 11 months and will NOT be renewing my rent due to the way how current management handles things. Keep in mind, this is the 3rd to 4th time that management has been replaced at the apartments. Due to the change of management, many people are not kept up to their word and often forget to tell maintenance to fix an issue. The manager of the apartments is always outside smoking and never greets or waves at anyone even while she is outside smoking.not friendly. The gates are broken at least 4-5 days out of the week but yet management wants to send an email about vandalism taking place.lack of security. The pool at Phase 2 is always locked in the morning also, only 1 door/gate works for the pool. Playground at Phase 2 was torn down earlier in the year and yet has been replaced.the sign that reads New Playground Coming Soon should be taken down if there is no intent of putting up a new playground. Children are NOT allowed to play with side walk chalk even though rain and water can wash it away. Dog park needs to be larger if the management doesnt want dogs to be running loose in the pond areas. To me, these apartments were so much better when I first moved in but due to the lack of proper management, they are slowly becoming to decline especially for the cost of rent.

Since The Lynn at Country Club was bought out, now The Oxford at Country Club it hasn't been anywhere near the same especially with customer service, for starters. The original staff was super patient and polite and followed through addressing concerns. The new Oxford staff members pretend to be way to busy to help you with resolving any issues in the apartment community, yet nothing gets done. The gates stay broken, but we still pay higher rent prices to live in a gated community. We can't enjoy the pool because the surrounding neighborhoods realize they can just come in our gate, locked or not it doesn't matter. Even when the gates are working anyone can just follow another car in by waiting for someone that pays to have a remote to the gate! This should be fixed! Barking dogs left on outside balconies all hours of the day and night is another huge concern. Not only is it a disturbance for the residents, but a huge safety concern for the dog! Under new management again, so I really have high hopes they follow through and make all changes needed to the complex, before they don't have any quality resident's left!
