Update and Response. There are no work orders open because staff will close them out. Come live in my apartment and try to shower. Just today the water just stopped flowing to my shower at all. Tepid water does not fix this issue. Under Law you are required to fix hot water within 24 hours and multiple times you have failed to do so. you have broken the lease agreement. You are criminal. You should be fined. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I am a current tenant. Moved in July of 2017 with a lease that ends in June of 2018. In the 6 months I've been here the turnover in the main office has been thrice. Gail, Drew and now Patricia. This turnover has failed to instill a sense of community. The apartments are cosmetically sound but the guts need a lot of work. Be prepared to hound staff multiple times for any maintenance request you submit. In the middle of September, it took 2 weeks to get anyone to come look at the HVAC system in my apartment. Two weeks of Texas heat. In September. Currently the entirety of my building is without hot water. Requested several times to have this addressed but I am still boiling water in pots and kettles to simply wash dishes. I've taken to shower at my gym. When I saw Martin, a maintenance man who lives in the same building as I do, he suggested I take showers at low traffic times for bathing. As someone who works from 8-6 That's not really possible. So I don't get to shower in my own home. Bryant, the assistant manager, will "understand" your frustration but fail to do anything to resolve the situation aside from saying they will work on it. Attached is my work history order to emphasize the failing maintenance standards. Needless to say, I will be moving out the moment my lease is up. Shame on Trio apartments for their failure to keep their community livable.

I am extremely excited to move out of the Trio Apartments at the end of next month. They are easily the worst place I've lived in Austin or anywhere else. Here are just the things I can think of off the top of my head - There are raccoons living in the walls of my apartment - Flooring looks nice but is extremely chintzy. Whatever keeps it fastened to the ground (glue? Nails? Who knows?) is coming undone in several places throughout my unit. - Water temperature fluctuates drastically every single time I try to take a shower and hot water gets shut off for maintenance seemingly every other week. - Washers and Dryers are almost always broken or malfunctioning - I've had one motorcycle tipped over in the parking lot and another one stolen from the parking lot. No security cameras? - Friends have been towed even if they're parked in the visitor lot and registered on the towing company's useless mobile app. - Rude neighbors throughout the complex. - Staff turns over so frequently that I don't even know who to contact with my concerns.

Recently under new management, I really loved living here. The staff are nice, the maintenance guys take a while to get around to things, but they normally get it done. Apartment units are clean, modern and well worth the price. I highly recommend living here.

Happily renewing my lease here. All the staff is very helpful and friendly. They always do a good job with the mail center and handling our bigger packages. The maintenance team is super fast and does the job right the first time. Safe and quiet neighborhood, and respectful neighbors!

I've been living in phase 2 for 11 months now. I've been without water multiple times. Had to argue with the new office manager to get someone out here. The apartments are dog friendly but recently found out they don't enforce the landscapers to use pesticide. My 1 yr old rescued puppy had been infested with flea and ticks (not to mention we had a dead animal under our house for 3 weeks and fleas pouring out of the master bedroom outlet) and the office blamed me! They have the office phones off most of the time so it's hard to contact them. I got NO NOTICE when they decided to rip out my front porch and stairs(I live In a elevated first floor)for construction. I was unable to leave my house(I have many pictures). When I called the office to complain that I had gotten hurt because of their lack of communication, office manager had said she didn't know idea of the construction. Currently I'm waiting on a plumber that should've been here 2 weeks ago. Sewage backing up into my tub, kitchen sink, and toilet .

Let's start with an apartment that is expensive for the amenities that they offer which are NONE. Second, roaches! And I'm talking roaches coming out of the wall, so no matter how much you clean they will come out. Third, Security.. a few months after I moved a guy knocked out door at 12am looking for another person, then another day another guy approach me asking me weird questions, luckily I had my dog with me and I told him he bites and lastly right in the backyard where are some bushes around 7:00 was this guy masturbating! Yes! So I immediately call the patrol and they sent someone but at that time he already ran away. Also, dog poops everywhere! You walk thru the green areas and believe me, you will stand on a dog poop. Maintenance since the new administration takes forever to fix something and to respond a request.. So bottom of the line; DO NOT LEASE HERE! I have looked patiently on another places and they have control access, more amenities and your money will be worth it. TRUST ME PLEASE!
