Juniper Springs really is the best when it comes to concierge living, a gated community, and a safe place to call home! The staff are all amazing. Literally, they will go to any length to ensure your satisfaction. Angela is the sweetest and always makes sure youre taken care of and comfortable. Also, maintenance is super fast. I dont think I ever had to wait more than 24 hours for a maintenance request to be completed; normally it was completed the same day. Overall, this is a great community and definitely the best in Far West! Hands down!!
I love living here! My apartment is beautiful and quiet, it's a lot of space for the price. The staff is friendly and super helpful.

The management and staff at Juniper Springs are simply the best. They have been so kind to us since we moved in last August. The apartments are nice and spacious, and the grounds are well kept. The community is quiet, which is great for busy graduate students. We never have issues with bugs inside, even though we're on the bottom floor. Speaking from past experience in other Austin complexes, this still amazes me! I love living here, and I intend to stay until I have to leave Austin.
Lived here for 1 year. Enjoyed the space of the 3/2 but the main miss was washer/dryer connections. Having to go to on-site laundry...
Lived here for 1 year. Enjoyed the space of the 3/2 but the main miss was washer/dryer connections. Having to go to on-site laundry or take to cleaners dropped the value of this apartment. The units are older but my unit had been maintained well and the staff was friendly. When we had maintenance issues the staff was quick to respond and in one occasion put us up in the model unit overnight while repairs were completed. Would recommend to others.

Juniper Springs is probably the best managed and maintained complex off far West. I cannot stress how professional, courteous and friendly the staff is....

Con's: over-priced. Add $100 to your monthly rent just for being near a UT shuttle route. If you don't use the UT bus, why pay for it? This is not just my opinion, any Realtor will tell you the same. The place was also built in the 70's, and our appliances reflected that. Our dishwasher kept leaking, and every time they sent their maintenance guys (which is a nice way to describe 2 guys with a hammer and a screw driver) the dishwasher (obviously) wouldn't leak, so they never fixed it. The garbage disposal kept breaking, the sink kept getting clogged... you get the picture. I lived in a 2-1, and have now moved into a 2-2, with 2 balconies (as opposed to 0) and a garage, for LESS rent, just by going north 2 exits on Mopac.
Other thoughts: ever work for corporate? This is exactly what the management there is like. They refuse to take responsibility for anything, no exceptions, no nothing, ever. It's THE RULES, sorry. But don't worry, they smile as they stab you in the back so it's OK!!!

So I have lived in Juniper Springs for a year now and i can not begin to count all the problems i have had here. The dishwasher is ancient and leaks, they fix it quickly and just as quickly it leaks again,the garbage disposal stops working once a month. Also what irks me the most is i could not get a gate access code because my phone number does not have an Austin area code. So when i had company I had to walk all the way down and give them my card so they could get in....that is if the gate works...More than once have i been locked out of the complex!!!! the gate stops working and will not open! it is usually late at night and they do not have an emergency number. I had to park my car across the street and use my key to open the gate door manually but had to wait until they opened the gate the next day to get my car back in!!!!!! If you have money to burn and love ancient appliances this place is for you......ugh
