I have lived at Summit for 12 years. I have seen many management changes but the newest team is great! they are proactive and easy to talk to. I had an issue with my rent and sent an email and they called me to help. I am proud to live here

Okay haven't even moved in to this complex yet and already having issues... first off I get a call from Tahiana at the leasing...

Okay haven't even moved in to this complex yet and already having issues... first off I get a call from Tahiana at the leasing office to tell me that the original apartment that we agreed to sign a lease too will not be ready in time for the date that we were supposed to move in. (The reason being because the previous residents trashed apartment) i get that but we agreed on a price when signing the lease you would THINK that they would honor the price given since she said it would be ready by the move in date but NO since they didn't have one same exact size apartment they put us in a bigger one making us pay $51 more a month. When talking Tahiana about this she said "that it's not that much more." Yeah its not that much more when it's not your money! Please save the stress and don't lease here too much confusion and unorganized. Already feeling like it's going I be a long 12 months here!

I do like the location I must agree,with all the reviews that i have read that gave the 1-2 star to the front office I move here in October.It start off okay,but when i reported they had bed bugs in my apartment to the front office the assistant manager had charge me.Telling me I did not report it with in the first 48 hrs.Then they wanted to charge us for light bulbs this was the first time i was ask to pay for lights in an apartment But i had no problem with the manager,I had a problem with her assistant WHO needs people skills training she will mislead you I believe she is the one who try and give the tenants a hard time,she is the one who had me charged for the bed bugs I reported to corp-Bell partners and they did not help. Now i find out its a new company call Carroll.The assistant manager is misleading in the front office so check every thing in your lease and take your time to read and ask question.when dealing with her. But as a tenants reporting to corp they want really do anything to help or make any changes,we are lock in the lease they don,t care. Just keep reporting but go to the city ad filed your report,so they can have it.we as tenants have to work together and make these complaints official with the city of Arlington enforcement code.

The management is rude and condescending had to speak with corporate about their behavior and the boss gave me her personal number just in case I had other issues. Luckily I didnt.... But these people will enter your home for unnecessary reasons. Inspections several times each month and I have emails to prove it. The head management lady had a surprise inspection and didnt notify me before hand. & moving out will charge you for every little bit. The only good thing about living here is that I didnt have any roach issues. Im a clean person and lived on the 3rd floor so no one living above me was good reason why I didnt have them. I just dont recommend this place. Just move down the street. Lots of great apartments for a better price per square foot.

The smartest decision i made in my life was to sign a short term lease with this apartment. I was ready to bounce the min i stepped in because of the roaches that took over my appartment everytime i turned off the light from day 1. The one star i give them is because they did spray continuously for a month and always answered my service request on time. BUT the roaches alone was a deal breaker for the amount of money i was paying. Also the apartment wasn't thoroughly cleaned when i was moving in. Had to take pictures of the roaches and the mess to complain with proof that i was not crazy.I couldn't unpack my stuff during my whole stay and slept with my lamp on because i was scared of roaches. It's 2018 people and am out thank God. Peace

I tried to reach an understanding with management the lady with the short hair is rude and the other staff follow her childlike behavior.. you work with people maturity is a must have, which this group in the front office lacks.. they are in the business of charging you regardless if the charge is just or not.. if you care about security the gates have been broken since I have moved in, multiple cars have been broken into.. do yourself a favor and dont move in.. had to fix my own ac Maintenance didn't show til a day later, it was mid July; hottest day ever.. currently waiting for 3 days for them to address what looks like black mold growing from the ceiling, and light bulbs that have gone out and air vents that should have been replaced before I moved in, thinking about going to home depot and fixing everything myself, these apartments are ridiculously over priced and management doesn't care plain and simple.. if the people who owned these apartments really cared about the complex and its reputation it would get rid of everyone in office and hire a new staff that is able in regards to customer service, it logical to do so, but by continuing to keep the same rude people not addressing the issues or actually doing something about the feedback in these reviews, the reputation of the complex continues to be what it is now, what you want is happy tenants so the continue to lease your apartments for more then a year, but people are always moving out; they don't stay for more then a year; they don't like the way they are treated.. and when they move out they are fined ridiculous moving fees, this place is a joke and I will never be coming back just patiently waiting for my lease to be through. but if the owners of these complex had just a little sense they would have already realized the problem and corrected the issues... but they don't listen. All this feedback in the reviews, previous tenants have left and all they can say is, "we have considered your comment", its beyond consideration time, its time to take responsibility and rectify the issues its time to listen. Who want to read that the comments has been considered, whats the point in that, correct the issue. I wish I had read reviews. my lease is almost done. to those moving in good luck. worst stay ever.

I honestly cant find s negative so far. This is my 2nd Bell property and both locations have been great!

do not move here... do yourself a favor and dont under go what I went.. worst place to live at and the office seems to hate their residence.. been fined my ac was disconnected at the breaker box, in my heart I feel like it was those in office who did it, you have to know about ac to unhook it from the breaker.. I called maintenance they didnt come til a day later.. it was July and hot so I ended up getting it fixed on my own account, Been waiting for 4 days to get a few things fixed and havent gotten them repaired.. Ive been fined rediculous fines, the office refused to give me corporates number to atleast explain my situation to a more sensible person, when I got in touch with someone in corporate They assured me everything would be taken care of been waiting. if you love yourself dont move here... a few more months until my lease is up! Looking forward to it the worst decision Ive made was moving into these apartments.. dissapointed in myself for not doing a little research before moving in.. will be getting in contact with the city to find away to get out of this place.

I wish I had read reviews.

Forget the location not worth the BS you have to go through, management only care about one thing and how much they can take from your pockets, they care very little about your protection or you. The gates been broken for years even though many people have gotten there cars broken into or even stolen. Nothing of the things I needed resolved where addressed, but you get a ton of fines while living here and a ton of fines when you move out, they take what they can. Forget this place, way to many better apartment complex out there for better prices with more security and staff that value you as a tenant

Trying to reach an agreement with management over a number of wrongful charges have been some of the most unpleasant experiences Ive ever experienced while interacting with people, I work with people and see different people everyday; I know how difficult interacting with people can be at times, so I try to be as pleasant as possible.. I tried to reach an understanding with management about the wrongful charges but to no success.. they are in the business of making as much money as they can regardless of how it will effect you; they care very little if its a fair charge or not; they are rude and condescending, though my rent was suppose to be 779 for a one bed room, the charges have raised my rent to 900 930 monthly I almost paid 1,500 at one point for a dog that didnt belong to me.. when I wanted to correct the fees they were rude and defiant.. Im looking forward to my lease ending; I understand now why so many people moved out when I moved in; do not move here, dont wish it on anyone... I was charged a pet fee because my girlfriend brought HER dog over sometimes when she came over; got her to stop bringing HER dog and leaving it at her place when she visits, though the pet fee was taken off I still paid a 120$ fee for the dog.. after Speaking with management I realized, this isnt the place for me.. then A charge was placed on my account because my girlfriend came over to often they said she wasnt on the lease and a fee needed to be paid.. Apparently you cant have visitors, unless you pay this fee; then I was charged because they said I didnt have renters insurance, I never lost coverage just switched insurance providers, brought in paperwork proving it.. still had to pay the fee, Its obvious they are money hungry Andrew find any excuse to rob you.. but theyd havent addressed real issues like the black mold growing in my bathroom ceiling, the dirt and filth and mold growing out the the air vent panels.. I requested to move to a lower level apartment since they said the third floor was the only thing available at the time I moved in but three people moved out levels below me a week after I moved in, wouldnt surprise me if they lied.. instead of addressing the mold or the out of date issues they started to find me.. I feel ashamed when I think about how naive I was in moving here, but you live and you learn.. I had to fix my own ac when it went they didnt answer the office phone and maintenance didnt come out to fix it , no one answers the phone when you walk in in person they are confrontational and rude, completely unprofessional and unwise.. they dont care about the tenants.. I pay my rent on time, dont like to complain but honestly its hard not to, when you consider these complex.. fixed my own ac, replaced my own lights.. after knowing how little they care for their tenants i cant wait til my lease is over, exited to move to better apartments with lower rent and a much cleaner apartment complex with a more professional staff. if your wise dont bother with this place and if you dont believe me rent it for the minimal amount of time and find out for yourself; you wont renew your lease. I didnt even want to rate them a star, they deserve a -2

Everything at this apartment was acceptable, if you don't mind paying a slightly high rent. maintenance staff was nice and friendly with me. I never had problems with the office, always paid my rent on time and all that. BUT, once It came time to move out, they decided to make it a horrible experience and overcharge me. I moved to Houston right before hurricane Harvey. they wanted me to mail my keys to them since they don't accept them early. I mailed my keys as soon as I could and explained to them my situation. they still wanted to charge me for the extra days they didn't have the keys and a late fee for the keys. no sympathy or understanding for my situation at all. From their point of view, I owed them for the extra days they didn't have the keys, even though I tried to turn them in before I left Arlington and they denied them. all in all, my rent for what was supposed to be one day of the month turned into more than half of my normal months rent after only four days.

I highly encourage you to heed every warning sign given in reviews here. Moving into these apartments is one of the biggest renting mistakes...

I have been miserable in most of my stay, to the point that I crash with a friend and pay rent here until my lease is up. Please don't take an apartment here because of the great location only. Each and every bad thing I have seen, I have personally experienced. Also, roaches out of control. Management WILL come after you for anything they can. Run from this listing as fast as you can. I have been renting and moving throughout the metroplex for years, and this has been hands down the worst experience. I am running from this place as fast as possible at the end of my lease. Please, please do not make the same mistake we did. EDIT: Also, the gate is almost either open or broken. I've been trapped in with my car on more than one occasion trying to leave for work.

Got my car broken into the very first night I as unloading stuff, I left it open for a couple of minutes while I went to the apartment, after reading reviews back then I didn't even bother to notify management, they failed to tell me that according to the civil relief act I could move out with no charge with my letter of transfer since I'm in the military and being relocated, had to pay a s.....load of to move out, the pool is overcrowded mostly with what appears to be people not even living at the complex, people always speeding on the parking lots, I'm so glad I moved out

Horrible experience. 2015 I got my car stolen from my parking spot, 3 times in 2 months. My life was miserable for a few months trying to find my car and finding the way to go to work without a car. It was a nightmare thinking it wasn't a safe place to live in. The staff didn't care about. All the wanted was my rent paid and nothing else. I told them I can't live there any more coz there're criminals living there. And they made me stay for another 2 months which is in the contract in order to leave the apartment. I understand that, but it wasn't my decision to leave, criminals were the reason I had to desestablish my life and they made me lose a lot of money between my car stolen and the apartment fees. I didn't get an apology, they said they have no control on criminals to avoid stolen cars from the tenants parking spot. The gate kept open most of the time day and night so there was no protection for people living there. I paid the price for not to read the place reviews. Hope this can help. It's a beautiful place though

The head manager lady with the short hair is very very rude, condescending and disrespectful. How can you work with people and be so rude? Treat them like they're below you? I had a thought she might be racist. I pay my bills on time like the rest so what's the problem? I would want to live here another year if she wasn't so disrespectful but I'd rather move...which I will as soon as my lease is up. If you're reading this. Don't waste your time here, it's a great location but dealing with management is not worth it. I believe in having a good relationship with management as a tenant. It's very necessary. But you can't have a good relationship with this lady she's very difficult and makes everything difficult.

I contacted mantince about multiple issues nothing was ever resolved. EVERYDAY water is having to be turned off for some reason or the other. Was kept up better way more when Monica was there but Amanda,Lynn do nothing. I lived here for 2 years and was highly disappointed.

Such a renigation of amenities should be compensated to the residents; in addition, the frequent turnover of management has done nothing but hurt this residential option. Get the pool fixed, stop having our vehicles towed unjustifiably, and reduce the ever increasing monthly rent!

I absolutely hate living here, there's too many ghetto people that have moved in and the place has gone down fast. Great apartments. Management always kind. Especially the head lady, very sweet. She helped fix a towing issue to where I didn't pay a cent to get our car back. Maintenance was always there. Always fixed problems if/when needed. The guy with the blue truck was very kind and helped with an issue with our washer breaking. Was there to help in 2 minutes! Moved out early because of life change and wasn't charged an arm and a leg. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and extremely clean apartment complex.
