Pros: 1. Pet friendly 2. Staff is friendly and responsive 3. There's a gym 4. Apartment has good layout 5. Good location 6. Mark is awesome with dogs. When they see him they go crazy and pull me towards him! 7. You can pay online, and also do service requests 8. There's a fireplace. 9. Patio / balcony. Cons: 1. Trash Valet. This is a third party that picks up your trash at your door for $25 / mo. You can't opt out, so you might as well use it. Unfortunately they are extremely picky about your trash, randomly don't show up, and don't come on weekends. This is a total ripoff for me since I live on the first floor and close to the dumpsters. Note: since your trash bin is sitting outside lazy people try to use it sometimes. They'll stick fast food bags on top, etc... This causes TrashValet to not take your trash, so now you have to deal with some rando's trash. 2. Trash and dog poop all over the place outside. There are ZERO trash bins on the main sidewalks and entryways, so lazy people don't bother to clean up after themselves. 3. Gym is dirty. This is due to the wipes not being replaced for weeks at a time, and the floor not getting cleaned ever. 4. The office puts packages in a closet and doesn't tell you a package arrived. If you're expecting a package this is fine, you can check every day. If you're not expecting, good luck! 5. Parking lot and sidewalks are a nightmare during the winter. Hopefully you're an able bodied, alert individual, or else you're gonna have problems on the unpaved, icy sidewalks and parking lot. 6. Walls are poorly insulated. The master bedroom on the corner of the building is an energy sink. It's 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house, and we have to use a space heater when we're in there. We have to keep this door closed, otherwise it forces the heater to run all day long. Overall: I'll give it a 3. It's fine, and relatively cheap for Ann Arbor. The main problems have do with trash. Seriously, they could solve the trash problems by sticking a few public trash bins on the sidewalks.

Everyone has to pay $25 for a service called Trash Valet. The problem is this company regularly doesn't show up to do their job. We have reported this to management several times with no resolution. They don't allow you to opt out, or even lower your mandatory fee when this horrible third party doesn't do what they are being paid to do.

Let me preface this by saying I really wanted to like this place, the apartments look really nice on the outside and its in a great location: right by the mall, downtown Ann Arbor, Whole foods, etc. but you're paying to live in Ann Arbor, not for apartment quality. The management never seems to know what is going on: the first apartment I had ended up getting canceled because the unit I was told I was getting wasnt actually available. The one I ended up with was actually in a nice spot of the complex but had awful bug problems and flooded 3 weeks after moving in and we were moved into another apartment. This was a known issue with that apartment that had occurred the year before and apparently no one bothered to check it out after we pointed out the corner baseboard rotting away when we moved in. The new unit that we got moved into provides everyone coming in and out of the complex with a nice view of our bedrooms and living room. Maintenance is slow and regularly requires you to follow up to make sure things get taken care of in a timely fashion. As others have mentioned, the AC is pretty loud/obnoxious in the 2nd bedroom. Walls and floors are pretty thin: I can hear my upstairs neighbor stomping around and slamming drawers at all hours of the morning and evening. Parking is kind of a mess, its gotten a little better as people have moved out but there are frequently not enough spots for residents to park near their buildings forcing people to park in what are obviously not parking spots. On the plus side the appliances are nice, grounds are well kept, and it feels like a safe community: theres always people walking outside with their kids. Overall though, youre going to be paying rent for a luxury apartment without any of the luxury.

Very happy I found this place. Overall safe neighborhood, staff are friendly and easy to talk to. All my issues reported are resolved withon reasonable time. Love the fitness room, sauna, pool, tennis and volleyball court. Although, parking can be extremely tight and sometimes affected by game days. Some apartments may have updates, but the cabinets and doors aren't the best quality. Drawers and closets do not slide smoothly, and slight damages throughout apartment but mothing too major. Clubhouse offers free coffee! Don't forget to grab a cup when you drop in.

In previous experiences the model units I have viewed have always turned out to be much nicer than my actual units, so when I moved into my apartment at Signature Club recently, I was pleasantly surprised to find my unit was very similar to the model I had toured. While I haven't had much interaction with anyone yet, the community here appears to be fairly diverse with students and families with children of all ages. While overall I am happy with my apartment, I do have some complaints/comments to share. My main complaint at this point is the completely unenforced pool hours. Several nights a week there are very loud groups of people at the pool until well after 10:30pm which are rather disruptive when I'm trying to go to bed. Also, while it's nice to have 24/7 access to the gym, the music is on over the speakers in there for the entire 24/7 and is unable to be changed or volume adjusted which kind of defeats the purpose of having two cable TVs with volume as well. Additionally, the office staff/management have not given either my roommate or myself much confidence in their abilities to do/remember much of anything, so pack your patience! Given this, I suppose the slow turnaround for maintenance requests shouldn't have been much of a surprise, but neither of the two minor requests I submitted were addressed sooner than four days. Finally, and possibly not worth mentioning, the parking lots are laid out pretty terribly so unless you're lucky with your carport assignment or happen to come home at an unpopular time, prepare to walk!

I have live here for a total of four years. This new leasing staff is by far the worst that I have encountered at any apartment. They don't respond to emails, are not helpful and always seem confused about what is going on. The apartments are large but very dated, even the updated. Maintenance is great and know much more about the tenants and the apartments than the leasing staff.

I had a problem with my upstairs neighbors with them being so noisy, and the management tried to help but couldn't and didn't do anything and i had to bare with it until they moved. So, don't depend on them! Otherwise, everything was good.

We've lived here for almost a year, and we are definitely renewing our lease! The manager and staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help you. The maintenance staff are knowledgeable and are dispatched the same day. Our heater stopped working in mid-November, and three maintenance people came out to fix it (it was pretty cold!) the same day. They are also big on community events, and frequently host dinners, get-togethers, happy hours, tailgating parties, etc. The grounds are also well maintained! They're also dog-friendly. We won a raffle for a 3-day doggy day care. Again, they're really big on uniting the community and making you and your family feel welcome. I would highly recommend them. They're by far the best option in Ann Arbor--trust us, we looked for two months!

Signature Club Apartments has some of the most friendly, responsive, and helpful staff that I have ever experienced. I really enjoy living here because there is a real sense of community, but what really makes this apartment complex special is how the staff is so committed to excellence. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a well manicured, pet friendly, and beautiful place to live.

Parking situation is better since they started towing cars that don't have tags. Maintenance staff is responsive. Office staff is nice and helpful. Pool is nice. Price is high for 2Br 2BA but comparable to other similar apts in the area. Easy access to I-94. Heating and cooling can get expensive since the vents are right by the windows but no other real complaints. Our ceiling can get creaky (1st floor) but the maintenance staff is willing to drill floor boards every few months to cut down on the noise.
