I've lived here for just over 5 months. There is dog poop everywhere. Nobody even remotely picks it up. I have to harass people letting their dogs poop outside of my window constantly. Dilapitated is the name of the game here. Most sidewalks through the apts, are actually small streams through the year as all the sprinklers just seem to water the sidewalks instead of the brown, patches of dirt that could be grass. The lawn Care guys repeatedly run over the sprinkler heads and causes all of the rocks and sidewalks surrounding my apt. to be either flooded most of the day, or are extremely slippery mud slicks... we have notified the office many times. But to no avail. Not once has it been remotely addressed. Can not wear heels, or any nice shoes because they will be soiled by time you get to your door. Unless you wear boots you have to tippy toe and dance around through sidewalks to get to parking lot. The parking is tough cause people Park in our reserved spots constantly..The bushes are filled with trash, the fences have trash built up on them. Everywhere you walk there is trash, debris, and junk lying around. Everyone around us has trash building up on their patios. People actually leave their bags of trash at the dog poop station.... The water heater boils and pops, the shower needs low flow heads. The toilet barely flushes. All the doors stick terribly and must be forcefully opened. All of the caulking in bathroom has cracked and separated from wall.(unit was remodeled 4 months ago) The bathroom still has drywall Mudd all over the floor, lighting. The front door has a huge gap in weather strip bugs and insects waltz right in. The fridge is installed too close to the wall causing the bottom drawer to not be accessible. Our air conditioner leaked like a siv for weeks. Our utility bill hit $85 cause of that (trash, water, sewer) The bedrooms have no ceiling lights or fixtures but have light switches that effect plugs on one wall of the room. Same with living room. The rooms are kinda small considering the rent is on par with higher end complexes. The heater is on and off and on and off just to keep a tiny two bed at 69 degrees through spring. The laundry mat could use some tlc and removal of lint from the screens. They are caked with lint on the inside of screen tray. Pricing for the laundry cards... Most walkways smell like dog pee, and have colorful stains of all sorts. You can literally figure out a families favorite food by inspecting the stains out of their front door. The trash compactor seem to be the Westside city dump as there is always mountains of debree and trash just sitting there. I've already had $800 bike stolen from my patio that had two locks. My neighbors children's bikes were stolen too with a heavy duty U lock. There are No cameras anywhere except on front gate, a gate that is never there cause people run it over. The neighbors and surrounding tenants are interesting. They blast ghetto music all day, yell obseneties at the top of their lungs. Harrass every pretty girl that walks. Create conflict and talk trash to anyone walking by. They use the public grill and leave the entire mess outside. These apartments bring the most ghetto, dirty, loud mouth, confrontational, immature crowd Albuquerque Westside can offer. If they show you the DEMO models that are upkept. Do not think all of the units will be anything similar. These apartments could be worth it for less rent. Like $150 less...We will not be renewing our lease.

It is actually kind of unfortunate that the experience I had with this place became so sour. I started at these apartments with a very positive view of them. When I left this place it quickly became the worst experience I have ever received at an apartment. I've lived in about 7 different places during college and this comes dead last. 1. The management was very shifty the past few months. The apartments started getting rid of their application fees if people gave them a 5 star review before they even moved in to the complex. 2. The background checks. It became clear that there were no background checks done on anyone, if there was they had insanely low standards. People here would consistly break the locks to the laundry room, gym, and even destroy the front gate to the apartments. I had a car shot at outside my window. Garage areas had been destroyed by cars running into them. People below me had complaints made against them by the entire building and it took far too long for them to leave, or be evicted. Management didn't seem to care. 3. Last major thing was the "cleanup fees". I have never lost my entire deposit when leaving an apartment. When I left these apartments I still owed over $1300. Why? I had a security deposit and a pet deposit. Was the apartment left in pristine shape? No, we left some trash and there were pet stains next to the patio door. My roommate and i did our best to clean the stains so they weren't that major. In the end they charged us $2000 minus our $700 deposit. I checked the charges and they were insanely high. On top of that the apartment charged me for the carpet cleaner and power washer they used (for the patio), then ripped up the carpet anyways, then used my utility bill for both of these equipment. My bill went from $60 To $140 because of this. It was a small thing but showed very clearly how much these apartments cared about getting money from the tenants. Was the experience all bad? No, it was just average. The apartments are in a cool area but other than that my experience with the people who manage this complex was pretty negative. I brought 3 other people here and I regret giving them that. Ultimately i would never recommend this place to anyone in the future.

Lived here for last 6 months, this place is not a luxury but pretty decent and value for money. Repair and maintenance may take longer if not an emergency but they will get it done after few weeks. I would recommend this place if you are looking for safe neighborhood and friendly staff. 4 star for the manager and staff - They are very friendly and respectful (Harley and Daniel)
