The staff are great, the office workers were responsive and helpful. You can almost always reach them when you need to and they never bothered me save for a phone call every three months or so just to check in, which I never minded The grounds are decently kept, maintenance requests are usually resolved within a few days at most and the technicians are polite and professional. I never had any issues with the people that work there. I never appreciated that they kept charging us for amenities that were closed during Covid but good luck finding someone who wouldn't. Once they opened, the lounge and gym were always clean.
The units themselves are adequate, if loud. I had plumbing running along one of my walls and could hear the rushing of water whenever someone flushed their toilet upstairs. I also often heard my upstairs neighbors, and the more heavy-footed ones shook the hell out of the floor, making some of the fixtures and appliances rattle like crazy. God help anyone who lived by the trash chute. However my biggest problem with the complex is the location. The area is not walkable in the slightest so you pretty much have to drive if you want to go anywhere, even the nearest 7-11. I'd say this place is good for families or professionals who don't want much beyond a clean, decent apartment with utilities and appliances that work. If you want a more vibrant community around you, keep looking. I found an apartment much closer to DC that is just as good, I'm in love with the neighborhood and I'm only paying about $100 more per month than I was here.
