A friend of mine came to Farmington apartment with the intentions of a great living environment. Overtime we realized it wasnt as promised. He has several issues with his unit. He requested to break his lease but the office ignored him which is truly unprofessional. Wed like to speak with the actual owner because hes sick of being held hostage to your system.

The rent is high for the accommodation you get from the maintenance and the security. We have had our balls busted a lot of stupid shit that isnt even our fault such as a serious odor of Marijuana and had officers in my apartment to find nothing, the pestering eventually stopped but it was rather demeaning to my roommate and I. The only issue i have is there is no cracking down on the people who dont clean up after their dog, my pup got parvo and is in the vets office in isolation and this is a $1500 treatment, but i doubt the front office cares nor will they do anything about it.
Update: We have moved out my lease didnt end for another 10 months but it is absolutely disgusting and horrible living there. Do not rent through them! You can live in a house for cheaper 5 minutes away.

UPDATE (24JULY2017)
They have no record to prove nor disprove i owe them anything, they got rid of their hard files in 2015. They can call Cedar Brook who i moved into after Farmington and i had to verify i was at good standings with Farmington to even lease with Cedar Brook but of course they dont want to verify this on top of their assistant telling me she found notes mentioning me moving prior to Cedar Brook. But they are holding me hostage for this debt because they know it will cost more for an attorney and fight it. I will be contacting the BBB, attorney general, and who ever i need. This is outrageous, they cant prove i owe them so they are just saying i do and reporting this onto my credit, nothing but sharks!

Has not been long, but, dont care, i can not move forward until this is resolved! Called them again, nothing really, i talk to this girl though that said there were notes showing that mentioned me moving out in advance. i called my old apartment complex i moved into after Remington park apartments and they said they'd verify you have to have good standings and owe nothing to the apartments your moving out of in order to lease with them, told them this as well and never heard back. Id bet they still want me to give them $500 just because they can!

I rented an apartment in 2013 called remington park apartments in wichita ks. I was there for 1 year, my lease was coming up and this Pierpont management company bought them out and renamed it Farmington Place. I put in my notice and moved into another apartment in 2014. Well, i applied to buy a home and apparently i owe this pierpont $500+ for not giving them my notice. As a matter of fact i did, i have been renting for 16 years and only cut a lease once but that was due to outrages electric bills. Anyways, this is effecting me from buying a house, i will pay it so i can purchase a house but i am going to contact the attorney general, better business bureau, an attorney and fight this later. If i werent buying a house at the moment i would dispute this with the credit bureaus as well which im thinking i should write all 3 bureaus about these snakes anyways. I do not owe these people, they are robbing me of over $500, F***ing snakes!

Farmington Place Apartments in Wichita Ks does not care about their residents what so ever now! I have old residents coming to me to ask what they need or should do about situations because the OFFICE WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! As HR apartment managers, assistant managers, and leasing consultants AND maintenance staff it is OUR JOB to make sure things get taken care of, fixed and the residents be happy. An old resident there from when i was there still has WATER DAMAGE on their bottom floor/wall that when maintenance comes they paint over it (not going to solve the problem!) or they don't even come at all. Another one has had A/C issues for MONTHS maybe even a YEAR and they have a child! FIX THE DAMN A/C! Another three residents BROKE their lease due to poor management and maintenance. I tired the best i could when i was there but guess what!? I have a manager and HR above me that didn't care to listen. I've also been told the staff at Farmington BRIBED their residents to write good reviews on their FB page and they would get HALF OFF THEIR RENT! The list goes on and on! Do your jobs or LEAVE and let someone who will fix things do it. I hope for the sake of ALL the residents and soon to be new one's that this is taken care of. Change your management and maintenance staff even your HR staff because this is absolutely horrible! Don;t even bother trying to reach me either because there is no point you will not get a response. This property has so much potential just not with how it is ran. Do your job, CARE about what your residents and FIX THE PROBLEMS! JESUS!

I would rate 0 stars if I could! I had nothing but problems since I moved in, I actually broke my lease to get out of there. When you called the office for problems the maintenance request was never put in. When I called back and told them it needed to be fixed or I wasn't paying rent I was told I was being pushy and needed to wait! I came home one day to my apartment that had NO water at all! I was not able to go to the bathroom or cook anything that needed water. I was threatened by people at the complex and people who did not live at the complex and the office nor security did anything about it. I came home to the smell of marijuana in the hallway and in my apartment almost daily, yet again nothing was done! When I moved in my ceiling fan was wired incorrectly and was a huge fire hazard, took almost a month and threatening to not pay rent for them to come fix it. When I asked for corporates number I was told the Misty the lady running the apartments was corporate and could handle my problems..yet she did nothing and refused to give me any number to corporate, I actually had to get corporates number from a former employee! They claim to be a luxury apartment now that they are remodeled, but they are not even close! I would not suggest living in these apartments!

They are super nice when you first take interest in the apartments but once you move in its like you are just another resident. If you have a package waiting at the office the front desk person will not even get up to look when you call and ask. So you have to make a trip to the office just to see if it is there or not. I have made several maintenance requests like a leaky bathroom facet, even though we don't pay for water, I get tired of hearing the facet drip constantly. It should not matter whether or not the laundry facility is through a 3rd party. We have to go across the street because in the 7 months we have lived there the laundry room has not worked properly. I am sure that the laundry use is included in our rent. If it doesn't work properly we shouldn't have to pay that portion. I have seen other buildings and they are significantly nicer. I don't feel safe at these apartments any longer. Our neighbors are so loud, stomping up and down the stairs, jumping off furniture, it's awful. My rent is $645 including pet rent. The only upside to these apartments is that they allow big dogs. I will not be renewing the lease unless I see significant changes. All of these nice reviews are due to the fact they bribed us with half off rent for a 5 star review.

The views are not that bad and all 2nd and 3rd floor apartments have a walk out balcony 1st floors appear to be split levels. As with any apartment complex it has it's downsides but most of it is acceptable. I understand the rental prices are reasonable and being all electric the bill is what you make it, averages around $60.00 to $150.00 a month. I don't live here but have family that does. I would recommend this place if your in the market for a place to call home.

This apartment complex is the best i have ever lived in! I had lived on the
east side of Wichita for a year and hated it, it was nice to come back to the west side for an affordable price on rent without sacrificing safety of the location. This place has plenty of amenities as well with multiple tennis courts, a pool, a playground, and tons of grass area to play with your dog. The people in the office are also very friendly, they have handled any concerns I had in a timely manner. I HIGHLY suggest this place as a safe and affordable place to call home.

I ended up getting a Black Friday Special as well as a student discount. They're professional yet still fun and laid back. The place is nice, affordable with only having to pay electric utility, and its pretty well kept too. If you're looking for an apartment on the west side, definitely come check them out.

I have lived here since the end of August and I absolutely love it! Whenever I have called maintenance they have been here the same day or early the next day. I enjoy the quiet community and the neighbors. The playground feature is very nice for my son to use at night or the weekends. I love the reassurance of having the main door to the building locked at all times. I can see my family staying here for years to come!

I have been living here for 5 months now and it has been nothing but problems since then. I have maintenance work orders from July that have still yet to come fix. I had to fix the gap in my sliding glass door that I could stick a cigarette through. I have cracks in my walls that they said was settling then I went down stairs and found out that the people before me flooded my apartment and the people below me are scared that one day I will wake up with my apartment in theirs. The day I moved in I found mold in the bathroom fan with the fan missing and a hole in my ceiling. The foundation is crumbling beneath my feet and to make matters worse my boyfriend who is a disabled veteran has to walk up three flights of stairs because they lost the paper work when the management switched over night. They also told us to get rid of our Emotional Support dog. I would not be surprised if in 6 months this building falls to the ground or is condemned. I strongly recommended avoiding this place at all costs!!!!!
