Complex is nice and for most part very quite which is a plus. The people who work in leasing agent are nice but we're in middle of June and the pool thing is really annoying for the money we spend, the main reason I picked this complex over others was the pool set up looked amazing and was willing to pay more for that. No pool and have not been given a real update since they told us they will not open Memorial Day. Just don't understand how a franchise as big as Avalon could have botched up the pool, I mean it seems like they waited last min to start looking for a solution to their problem

The facilities and apartments themselves are nice and up to date. If you've never lived in a building with a parking garage, Amazon hub, trash rooms, or mail rooms, it can take some getting used to logistically.
Cons are too many apps. I believe there are 3 apps? One for avalon, one for maintenence, and one for rent payments. The elevators seem to only have one running during the day and one running during the night and repairs can take a long time. Pool is not open when there is no life guard so its almost the middle of June with no pool days yet. The automated machines when you are trying to get in touch with the front desk is also inconvenient
Dog friendly which is great! But, the grounds itself is not very dog friendly. There are no dogs allowed in the courtyard so animals must be taken down a carpeted hallway (watch for accidents!) and then to a flight of stairs or to an elevator. Dog park is on the roof of the parking garage which is 7 flights up and very loud due to being next to the highway.
I love the apartment, just not crazy about my overall experience in these first few months.

My girlfriend lived in this property after we moved out of NYC and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Management was amazing at taking care of our issues. We always treat everyone with respect and the staff returned the favor, esp John A. We hope to come back once we finish our world travels. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to live in a quiet peaceful, well run neighborhood with awesome people!
