There are occasional reports of cars being broken into, but in general, students are not worried about criminal activity on campus. In the town of Walnut, crime is low, too. A murder occurs only once every few years, and nearly as rare, cases of arson or forcible sex offenses. All types of crime in Walnut occur at a lower rate than both the national and California average. Walnut is a very safe place to live and crime is not something on the minds of its residents.
