Pros - Great location, decent maintenance and nice office staff.
Cons - Avalon fleeces you with move-out charges, their pre move-out inspection is a sham and their clean-sweep option is a scam to make you leave the apartment as-is so that they can take photos and charge you exorbitant repair charges. For something which would have costed me no more than a couple of hundred bucks, they clean sweeped me to pay almost a months rent as move-out repair charges. Avalon is a big time scammer. In pre-move out inspection, Shannon told us about 2 expenses, but I was charged exactly 4 times that amount for a total of 6 repair works (no response to my email), some of which are outright stupid (eg - resurfacing of all kitchen cabinets).
Liked it when we lived there but our move-out experience has been terrible given these exorbitant charges. Please avoid as I have read similar reviews (should have read them before moving in)
