The best doc in the practice is leaving, and so are two loyal patients. My husband and I have been patients at Cedarwood for at least 2 years, and we have NEVER been treated so unkindly before, until today's exchange. My husband arrived for an appointment and was told they were running behind. He takes time off of work to come to his visits, so it was a little frustrating that someone didn't give him a courtesy phone call before hand. But you know what hey, a doctor is leaving the practice and people are saying their goodbyes. We understand that. And of course the staff can't be too happy about that, because I am sure a bunch of patients are disappointed. Erica at the front desk was absolutely rude and condescending to my husband, who has been fighting with them for 4 weeks to get an itemized bill for what we owe after insurance. (I'm sorry but after you give us 3 different totals owed, we are NOT paying a bill until we get an exact amount and know what we are paying for.) Long story short, my husband wasn't able to be seen today during the time that he had set aside from work for his appointment. I will be canceling my appointment and we are not going to be returning. It's really too bad, we have enjoyed coming to Cedarwood, up until now.
