About 168,000 people live in Santa Rosa, California. About 60% of the population is White, 29% is Hispanic/Latino, 5% Asian, 2.5% Black, 2% Native American. Over 30% of households in Santa Rosa have children under 18 living there, and 44% of households are married straight couples. In the Apple Valley and Papago Court area, the population is 87% Hispanic.
