Friendship Manor, Salt Lake's premiere retirement community, is a self-contained apartment building with 178 units spread across 14 floors. We are admirably situated on the corner of 500 South and 1300 East, overlooking the entire Salt Lake valley and its encircling mountains. Friendship Manor was established over 50 years ago with the goal of providing affordable, diverse and safe housing for those 62 years of age and older or disabled.
Friendship Manor is a non-profit, equal housing opportunity facility and one of the first in the country planned for older persons of all economic backgrounds. Friendship Manor has many amenities including the unique and wonderful amenity of a HUD Mandatory Meal Program. Participation in this program is required and a condition of occupancy per the lease.
