We just moved in a few weeks ago and we are absolutely loving life here! The staff is so friendly and always ready to help. The apartment is beautiful and we just got our washer and dryer installed which is awesome. People who complain about foothill apartments don't know how good they have it. My last apartment in downtown slc cost about the same amount and had bugs crawling everywhere and poor management. Foothill is a breath of fresh air and we intend to live here as long as we can! Also, our dog feels like a king here--he loves going to "his" own dog park everyday.

Moving here has been so easy. Brittney is amazing - she has answered every question I have had extremely promptly. A few plugs were broken when we moved in but maintenance people came by the SAME DAY that I brought it to their attention... The grounds are super well kept. Its pretty quiet, but we are young and a little bit of noice from neighbors doesnt bother us too much. Reading other reviews about this place made me nervous but we are happy here so far. Rent is expensive but no worst than any other complex in the valley & we feel like we have a lot of space for the amount we are paying.

DO NOT live at Foothill Place Apartments if you enjoy hot water! I have lived here for almost one year and have asked to have my hot water fixed over 20 times and the response is: this is an old building (1973) and has boiler rooms. My apartment is on the opposite end of the boiler room so it doesnt get hot water much of the time. Just FYI for anyone thinking about living at Foothill Place Apartments.

I was told there was no request submitted and once again this request never got submitted either. Finally, a week later I called again a bit upset and they submitted the ticket immediately and had maintenance there within the hour. The maintenance crew was amazing and did a great job . Its management that failed in this scenario.

I really liked my apartment here. Couldnt be a more perfect location. Right off the highway, and right next to everything you need. Lots of space in a one bedroom apartment. High ceilings and plenty of space for furniture. Rent was a tad high, but in a ski town, you should expect that. I lived here for 6 months, which caused problems with cancelling the lease. Other than the mix up when I moved out, I loved the place. Would definitely live here again.

My apartment was on second floor you will definitely hear everything from people above and under you. You can hear they laugh, talk and even cough. Especially, the price is too high, they will make you pay for everything. Stay away from second floor if you want to have good sleep every night.

The number one thing is how timely maintenance requests are handled, thats been really nice. Having open communication with the office staff is important if youre ever having issues. We have found Ken and Vanessa to be very attentive and reasonable.

I've lived here for almost 4 months and am very happy renting an apartment at Foothill Place. The onsite staff is very helpful and friendly. They are attentive to my questions and are willing to make any repairs quickly - usually the same day. They have a clean up crew that comes by every morning and spruces up the grounds so it looks presentable at all times. This winter, the walks were shoveled and salted in a timely manner as well.

I loved living at Foothill Place! The location is amazing and the office staff is even better! We've only needed to submit one maintenance request and the work was completed within 48 hours. Our 1 bedroom apartment was HUGE- the bedroom was nearly the size of our living room! Pet friendly property but you would never know because there wasn't a poop in sight! The price was very reasonable and no hidden fees (because it's all laid out when you move in). Foothill place was truly one of my favorite places to live!

They deserve no stars. Somehow lived there for 13 months and let me tell you, I was depressed and broke. They have ONE recycling bin for the entire complex (so most tenants do not recycle..and they are ok with that!! GROSS), the halls smell like a casino because cigs inside are ok?? and everyone has a large, miserable, untrained dog, so if you like casinos that smell like dog poop, Foothill Place Apartments should be your new home!! The apartments are dark, moldy corners in the showers, appliances are below average, they'll tell you they'll clean the carpets, bill you for a carpet cleaning, but those carpets are not clean, there is nothing safe about their balconies, you feel like you take one wrong step and the entire thing is going to crumble into pieces, and NO LIGHTING (you have to bring your own lamps); I had one of the nicer apartments too. This apartment complex will nickel and dime you for everything, every single apartment pays sewer, property tax, monthly parking spot, etc. AND they bill you 45 days later for each month, so when your two months into living at your new home, you'll STILL be receiving bills from your past mistake here at Foothill Place Apartments. The staff is very fake (all they want is your money), very rude, and unprofessional; there was only one maintenance guy that actually cared about me and my apartment. Don't live here if you want decent neighbors, AFFORDABLE and peaceful living. I was born and raised in Park City and have been living in SLC for 4 years now and trust me when I say, do not live here, there are endless, better options, take the time to find them, do not settle for Foothill Place Apartments.

There are much better places in SLC if you take the time to look. There are more hidden fees than any apartment complex I've ever lived and they've cut a ton of corners with appliances, cabinets, and air conditioning. I never hung a single thing on the walls and scrubbed the place clean before I left, honestly leaving the place better than I found it, but then received a $70 cleaning fee in the mail a month after moving out. I even turned in the keys 28 days before my lease expired. Don't live here.

Less than 10 minutes from the UofU, 15 from Park City, 10 from downtown, and plenty of good hiking trails just across the street. People can be very harsh when reviewing apartment complexes. Nothing will ever be as good as having your own home that only you can manage. Paying a mid-level price for a good place to live with lots of amenities is a win in my opinion! I have and will continue to recommend friends to move here.

Foothill Place has been my home for over 18 years. Management has changed several times. I can say things have been bad at times, but overall it's a great place. Major upgrades have been done in the last few years. Since they renovated the clubhouse, I have used the pool table almost daily. Office staff is friendly & Maintenance get's more work orders completed in a timely matter. I've made friends with my neighbors & enjoy there company. Parcel Lockers confused me at first, but once you get use to the system it's easy breezy. Apartment living has severed me good, no plan on leaving anytime soon.

The apartments here seem nice... Maintainance is absolutely terrible. You pay a pretty high maintainance fee every month and they literally provide you with nothing. The light bulb in my kitchen fixture has been out for a month now. I have been to the office over 6 times to submit work orders and to notify them and still, no light. ITS A LIGHBULB! appliances aren't great either. Everything seems pretty cheap even though you pay the price for what should be nice. There is not enough parking. 80% of the time I have to park completely off property at the bottom of the hill, and that is no fun when you have a lot to bring in. There is no option to pay for additional parking, even though there are endless empty and unused stalls. The best part about this place is the option for a short lease term, so you can get out quickly... They charge you for almost every little thing here. We wanted to try and transfer to a larger unit a little bit ago, and it cost $2500 just to transfer the lease to another unit. If you already live in Salt Lake City, you already know you can find better. And if you are moving to Salt Lake City, you can find better. Also, for a place that is supposed to be nice, safe and have a security company ready and available, cars are constantly getting broken into. If you keep to yourself, this place is fine I guess. But when your fridge is broken, dryer is broker, toilet is broken, you have no hot water, garbage disposal is broken, key fobs for the building doors never work and so on, it's hard to keep to yourself and not contact the office. I get off of work at midnight and I can't even count the amount of times I've sat out in the cold waiting for someone to hopefully come in or out of my building cause the key fobs don't work. Anyways, don't settle. Live somewhere better.

This place is still a joke. My lease is up in a couple weeks. Thank god. Had ant/bug problems, mold problems, leaks, noisy neighbors, awful maintenance guys (who dont give a rats ass if theyre noisy or banging things off your wall and breaking it). Our mold problem has been here for 6 months, the bathroom has been leaking for 2 months and they fixed them before. They do not care for their residents. If you live here, it will sound like youre living with everyone instead of having neighbors because the walls are too thin. And you would hate to take a shower because theyll turn off the hot water without a heads up, and the water fluctuates constantly. So youll either get burnt or freeze throughout your shower. IF YOU LOVE YOUR VEHICLE BEING BROKEN INTO THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!! If you make a noise complaint, the office doesnt care. Theyll send out notices but they never help 99% of the time. After 3 noise complaints, that person is suppose to be evicted. But the office doesnt follow their own rules. So if we dont get our deposit back when we move, not only will this place have a 2 star rating but they could possibly have a lawsuit in their hands for everything thats been happening. If you live here, make sure you write down dates, take pictures, and document your problems for the next time this place wants to try to rip you off. Save your time coming here, and save your money for a better place. Its not worth it. I would rather be homless than ever live here again.

Be prepared for thin walls. Maybe living on the third floor with nobody above you is the best because I live on the first floor and the lifestyles of the people occupying the floors above have been very apparent to me through the ceiling sounds. When I first moved in, the upstairs tenants had a small dog with a high pitch bark that would howl away all day when its owners were gone. The dog also had a habit of waking me up before 6:00am every weekend morning with its barking. The next tenants were kind enough to wake me up frequently with squeaking bed springs in the middle of the night. But the latest tenant takes the cake. It sounds like I have a 12-foot sasquatch living above me. Every footfall is like the beating of a bass drum above my head, and of course the upstairs tenant wakes up much earlier than I do. And what am I supposed to do, put in a noise complaint on my neighbor for walking? At least now I know that if I ever become prey to a sasquatch on the hunt, I'll hear it coming.

Needless to say we wanted to be thorough and cautious before signing. Pros: The apartment interior and grounds are pretty nice. The owners seems to be willing to update the amenities (they renovated the gym) Great location They are great at communication regarding maintenance etc. Front line staff is pretty responsive to noise problems (during business hours) Cons: The front line staff is nice, but they are clueless about anything unless you are interested in starting a lease. They refer everything to the on-site manager. They nickel and dime you for everything; especially when you are terminating your lease. If you are interested, you should ask for Sariah or Kenrod, they're hilarious and will take good care of you.

Poor safety for residents. They don't have camera and in 10 months leaving there we had a motorcycle stolen, several cars with broken windows, and storage units being broken into it. They always say that this happens everywhere, but I'm sure that with a security system, it would avoid a lot of those problems. Plus utilities are very expensive because everything is super old. My one bedroom apartment I paid for 131 dollars in electricity. Gas bill is combined with everyone. Manager is never willing to work with your schedule. She is pure business. On the other side, is close to sugar house park, which I loved.

I lived here for a year. I would not live here again if I had to. The management is awful. I moved from across the country and on the day I moved in they decided to change my contract so that I would have to pay $150 extra. When I tried to say something, they tried to cancel my contract. My apartment looked nice at first but I quickly realized that everything was cheap. The cabinet door broke the first week and they charged me to fix it. it also had a smell at first. It initially smelled of cleaner but then I realized that it was a strong smell of cigarette smoke they were trying ot cover up. Then for the past year, they were constantly doing "maintenance". The would randomly turn off my water in the middle of the day. As for the "assigned parking", mine was on the other side of the complex and they would not let me change it. There was also 2 other people assigned to the spot. The management did nothing. As for the location, it's not good. If you are trying to go to the U anywhere from 7 to 10 am, it's going to take about 30 minutes. Finally after getting out of this horrible place, they decided to charge me $250 buck to shampoo the carpet and clean it even though I cleaned it before leaving. If you are considering living here, don't. I ignored the reviews because it looked nice and the management were nice when they were trying to get me to live there. You can get a much nicer apartment in a better location for the price you'll actually pay.

Terrible, awful place to live. Like the previous reviewers said-- only live here if you have NO other options and dogs. The only thing they are nice about is having any size/weight dogs. The office staff is horrible to work with, their are creepy, unfriendly "groundskeepers" who creep outside your window "picking up trash" and the constant maintenance on your apartment is horrible. Foothill traffic is horrible so you'll spend half of your life waiting at the unprotected left-hand turn and depending on your building there is no cell service. The "leasing agent" which sounds professional but they are far from it are liars and will try and get money from you any way they can. Don't let them fool you with their whirlwind tour of all the amazing, seemingly free amenities and their weird, desperate way to try and get residents to interact with them (seriously, newsletters on your door pleading you to attend some weird event at least twice a month.) Go anywhere else if you can, don't give these guys your money.

I have lived in 3 different buildings and 3 different units at this complex so I feel that I am more than qualified to review these apartments. This is the single worst place I have ever lived. The renovated units look nice but EVERYTHING, from cabinets to towel racks are flimsy and cheap. You'll find that out as you start using them and see how easily they break (for which you will certainly be charged). But whether you are in a renovated unit or not there is nothing that can fix the thin walls and odors which permeate the walls. The odor is an unusual mixture of cat, dog, weed, and beer. Which reminds me, the main pool is filled to capacity 24/7 by frat boys and sorority skanks who party hearty all summer long. Please read other reviews for insight on the management. In short, this is the worst possible choice unless you are a filthy rich frat boy with no sense of smell and an insatiable appetite for beer and bongs.

I just retracted my revew thinking this place was ok. That was until I had to deal with the management. Their rent payment system didn't process my payment through my bank account due to some error. I went over with a cashiers check the day after they notified me to pay rent. Now they want me to pay $180 in late fees (maybe half of that, after she talks to her manager) even though it's their end that messed up. (she said "it doesn't matter, the payment was late and I'm just holding up the lease, call the online payment system") All for their system screwing up and getting their money 7 days after I originally submitted payment. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
