Saint John Fisher College

St John Fisher College has a campus shuttle which most students utilize at some point, though it mostly just runs Friday nights and Saturdays. Many students have cars. Students get free bus passes to RTS buses, which runs from Pittsford to Rochester, and it has a stop at St John, as well as a Wegman’s, and Nazareth College. There are two parks in Pittsford, Mendon Ponds Park, and Powder Mills Park, which includes a fish hatchery. Other than these, there is not much to do in Pittsford besides eat at a restaurant. Pittsford has an annual kid’s Fishing Derby, and a Summer Concert series, but for day-to-day activities, Pittsford is pretty small and doesn’t have much. Rochester is right around the corner, with its movie theaters, bowling, museums, zoos, and everything else you can think of though, so really you should head there for fun!
