Don't rent from this complex! The landlord and company are terrible! It's a nightmare in disguise during the day the apartment complex is cute and wonderful. However, once nightfall hits the place is surrounded by drug addicts and homeless people. They will steal from you and try to break into your apartment. Living here was terrifying at night and sometimes during the day. The neighbors are great! Don't get me wrong they are terrific people and the reason why I stayed so long. the people you need to look out for are the ones that don't live in the complex. The manger does not kick them out and the police only come for shooting and stabbings, which do happen on occasion. The main problem is termites, rats, and poisonous spiders. As for maintenance issues, I informed the landlord of termite damage to floorboards and porch, she said due to coronavirus it is not an emergency. Along with cracks in the ceiling from stress fractures, because the upstairs is too heavy for the bottom floor. I was informed it will not be fixed unless the ceiling comes crashing down. Not to mention the plumbing backing up into sinks, showers, and toilets at least once a month. The pipes have an awful stench and flies come out. Seriously stay far away! find a better apartment with more space in a safer area for a cheaper price than renting from boardwalk/park place apartments.
