I came home to my apartment after being gone for a week only to find out my AC unit was not working as it was on 90 degrees inside of my apartment, which is a maintenance emergency. After contacting the emergency maintenance and Management (since I know they receive these messages too ). I was told they couldn't do anything for me except give me a portable AC unit, which would force us all to sleep in the front living room( My 10 year old daughter, my mother, our pets and myself). I think that is unacceptable to expect us to sleep in these kind of conditions. In addition to that they told me my AC probably went out due to the roofing work that is currently being completed. The leasing office is constantly sending out overly excessive emails about random redundant things but for some reason was negligent in letting me know the condition of my apartment. I have stayed in these apartments approximately 4 years or more and I have enjoyed my experience until we received new management. I wouldn't make this my first pick!

My family and I tried living here. Paid a huge deposit, that we found out was excessive and unnecessary when moving into the place we decided to go with. The manager at this property was very aggressive, the rules (her rules) were excessive, and how the manager handled potential issues and questions was what made us not live here. Changed our minds half way through signing the lease. After a lot of dragging feet on their part with approval and then ridiculous rushing because the manager "was just going to be to busy to deal with our move in". We are still dealing with this manager on getting our money back, its been almost a month. Banner Properties is great! However, do not recommend this complex because of her specifically. The apartments also smelled like stale cat urine, the spaces are very small, and you it may look renovated but try opening the fridge all the way in the 3 bedroom unit. You cant.

We have been staying here for last 3 years. One big plus with this apartment complex is that it is in close proximity to hot neighborhoods and corporate communities. A very practical location. A great school community too. The apartment itself is modest in lifestyle and appearance. My initial interactions with the management was little edgy, for a variety of reasons, but it has started to improve a lot recently. Some times it does come cross that the management is overly restrictive about enjoying the premises itself and very rules-driven, as compared to other neighboring apartment communities who are far more accommodating and sensitive to the residents. But the management is also trying to organize socials and pool parties. There is not much of a playing area in this complex. All in all good.

During the chilly winter this year, heater of my apartment was not working properly for few days and taking hiccups frequently. We have a newborn baby in our apartment. We raised a high priority work order on the resident portal, the maintenance staff (David and Michael) visited and fixed that but next day it was not working again. We raised an urgent work order using the emergency maintenance contact number, they again came and fixed but the problem still persisted, they needed to come couple of times but to fix this permanently they needed to take some of the hardware parts of the heater and stay outside in the freezing temperature. We are so glad that they treated our request as urgent and fixed same day. Every staff member is very polite and professional. Every kind of stores is very close and rent is also very reasonable here. I see from my patio, Pool is cleaned by Robotic Pool Cleaner very frequently and not only kids play area but the whole campus is also very clean. It is just beside a very busy Parkwood road however it is completely noise free community. We love staying here and highly recommend people to try this community. The only improvement I want to see that some more beautiful garden plants in the campus.

I never used guest-wifi in gym earlier but one day I just checked casually with Brittanie(Leasing Consultant) & JaiDa(CAM, property manager), is there a wifi in the gym then Brittanie shared credentials immediately but that was not working then JaiDa said that let me work on this and it was really fixed in the same evening when I checked in the gym. I appreciate both of them for the quick & prompt action. Every leasing and maintenance staff is very polite and cooperative here. I met some of the families of this community who have been residing in this community for approx. 7-8 years. In the beginning of my first year of stay, I was thinking, what is the specialty/uniqueness in this community, which makes them stay for a long time here. Later when I myself experienced and now witness the uniqueness. Rent is also reasonable as compared with the other communities. I got my lease renewed recently and got offered wall paint (one side wall) and carpet cleaning (whole apartment) for free with my renewed lease. I highly recommend everyone to stay here if they want to get rid of their community due to rude behavior of leasing & maintenance staffs. I hope this summer we will have some beautiful garden plants in the community.

My wife and I have lived here for 2 years and it has been a great experience! The location is perfect and centralized, the grounds are always kept clean, they have 2 great pools, a nice workout room, dog friendly grassy areas, playground for kids (and there is a lot of kids so it's family friendly), and the interior of my apartment was my favorite design after looking at a dozen others in the area. Their maintenance team is top notch. I'm always impressed with how quick they are to respond to even to the smallest of repairs. The manager and staff always keep us informed of any new changes or upcoming events and their online portal makes rent payment and maintenance request fast and simple. They also always seem to be improving and adding more so it feels like it's always getting better! I also think the people who live here are great. It's a quiet neighborhood and I've never had a complaint about noise. Highly recommend this community! You won't regret signing a lease!

They do not give you any reason for why they turn down your application. Even when credit is good, great rental history, and when you can obviously afford the rent, even when you can pay for the whole year in advance. Sounds like this place is bias towards a certain type of person. Look elsewhere if you don't want them to steal your application fee, that's if they even run it and not pocket your money. I'm sure there will be some heart felt lying response to this just to make themselves look good. Shame

I have recently divorced and searched long and hard to find a community in the Plano area where I could house my children for a short time while I figured things out. I looked at Wellington at Willowbend and loved the complex. I found it to be clean, pet friendly and seemed to be in a safe area. Now for the hard part.... My credit. My credit score has dropped significantly since my divorce. JaiDa talked to me and had a very open heart. My rental history is good so JaiDa and her staff worked numbers with me and got me into and apartment that was comfortable for my children and I as well as one that I could afford. WIN WIN for everyone involved. She has recently put together a very strong staff. From the office to the maintence, the staff is customer friendly and the maintenence guys even wave at me everyday as I come home. I'm proud to say I just signed my second lease at the Wellington at Willowbend Plano and knowing the Plano area well I think I made a good choice as far as location and price. I hope this is beneficial information for someone looking at Wellington for their future home.

I wish google allowed me to give less than 1 rating, but unfortunately it doesn't so I'm compelled to give a rating of 1. Here are some of the reasons to justify my rating - 1. Pathetic and filthy living conditions within the community. 2. Nobody bothers to keep the community clean and the maintenance staff or the management office doesn't care to create the awareness amongst the residents. 3. I tried reaching out to the manager JaiDa on the issues of keeping the community clean, parking lots clean but she kept giving hollow promises that she would send out emails regarding the same. Haven't seen that as of yet. 4. Residents walking with dogs don't bother to clean up the dog waste on the property. The last thing I want to see is dog waste in my parking spot giving rise to increase in bugs and mosquitos which is the most ridiculous experience. Spoke to the property manager JaiDa on this, but as I mentioned earlier she seems to be least interested. I'm posting a picture of the dog waste in my parking lot. Take a look and decide for yourself, if this is the place where you want to live with your family. 5. Earlier, we used to have bug and weed control folks coming on the property. Haven't seen them in months and no one from the management cares about maintaining hygienic conditions on the property. The trash can just overflows over the weekend resulting in to dangerous bugs and mosquitos and is extremely infectious for kids on the property. 6. Frequently there are water problems and management is very unprofessional in giving sufficient notice ahead of time to residents. Incase of unexpected water stoppage, they never had the courtesy to inform the residents until few of them complained to their leasing consultant Margarita in the past, who was caught by surprise that she should be sending out emails regarding the same. 7. Frequent burglaries, car burglaries, broken mail box, thefts is just a sign of the most unsecured place to live with kids. The mail box was broken twice in the past and the management didn't even get that fixed for 5 weeks. All the mails of residents were returned to post office and since post office denied to retain them for longer, residents lost their important mails in the process. The only thing that residents got to hear from JaiDa was 'Sorry'! 8. CCTV cameras are installed only at specific places within the community. Would be interested to know the reason behind that, when every resident on the property deserves the same security. I wish I gave a zero! But google doesn't allow me to give a rating less than 1. So, they are lucky to get my '1'.

I enjoy knowing that I live in a place that wants to make sure that the residents are well informed about what's going on in our community. The Wellington staff is pretty great in the sense that I don't feel like just an apartment number when I walk in the office. The staff is friendly and they are ready to attend to my needs. I love the crew. Jad, Justin, & David are so very helpful. The manager, JaiDa B. is an exceptional manager. She handles herself and the business of the Wellington like a well-oiled machine. She is always polite and friendly and makes it her mission to answer any of my questions. I can honestly say that it has not taken more than half an hour for her to return my emails. Keep up the great work, JaiDa and team! Thanks for making the Wellington a great place to live.

I've lived in wellington for almost a year now. Yes some things have needed to be fixed but maintenance comes the next day. For my emergency maintenance issue they came within 15 minutes. The neighborhood is mostly families so things are quiet around 8pm, which is nice for when I work in the morning! I've never had a noise problem and the people are friendly around the complex! Parking isn't so great after 7pm, but it's not a far walk from where I end up parking.

It has been great staying at this apartment complex for the past few years. The apartment staff, especially Margarita, is very friendly and the issues are resolved promptly. We have a very diverse set of people here and that makes a friendly living environment. I would recommend this apartment highly for anyone who wants to send their kids to a good school district.

I have been here for over 2 years and just resigned my third year! don't take the negative reviews for face value. people mostly mostly review when they have something negative to say, but i wanted to post the opposite. has there been some turnover with management? yes but i can say margarita is awesome! she has personality!! Before, i never cared to know their names, they did not look approachable. the neighbors are nice and all the kids play very well together. the experience here is has been the best since i been here!! the school district is great so don't let a couple bad reviews deter you from living in a family environment. Thank margarita for making resigning my lease a easy process and working with my time and schedule. Please don't go anywhere

Amenities: Pool in good condition. 2-bedroom floorplan is awesome. Laminate flooring is pretty cheap but not bad for the rent. Overall: I really, really enjoyed my stay in this complex.
