This unit is NOT located in one of the lower/basement level units. This is a plus at this complex, since it allows for good natural light to pour in through your slider, kitchen, and bedroom windows.
This unit also happens to be an end unit and located in the back of the complex. This is one of the most private and peaceful spots in the entire complex. Plainville woods is already set back from Route 10 and this is the farthest unit from the road and ideally backs to the woods.
It also happens to be the perfect amount of space for a one bedroom and to keep low utility bills (only electric).
You enter in a foyer area that opens to a living room and kitchen that are all open to each other. A great layout for entertaining or relaxing.
The slider is at the back of the condo, opposite your front door, and provides a great breeze through your unit in the warmer months.
The entire condo has been professionally painted and has all new flooring. This includes a brand new plush, wall-to-wall carpet in the living room and bedroom, that makes the place very cozy.
Another big difference with this unit is that it has all smooth ceilings. There are no popcorn or “cave like” ceilings in this unit. This gives it a more modern and larger feeling space.
The space definitely feels larger than the listed square footage and for one person you truly have all the space/rooms you need for yourself and even to entertain.

Please keep in mind that Plainville Wood is not a rental complex. These are individually owned condos. It’s a quiet area with plenty of parking and a commuter’s dream being on the Southington/Plainville line and so close to the major highways. Almost any dining, shopping, entertaining, gym option is less than five minutes from this location.
Tenant pays for electric; owner pays for condo fee and water. Snow removal, landscaping, trash, parking are all included.
Please keep in mind there is a strict application process that focuses heavily on credit. A minimum of 675 credit score is required. There is also a background, employment, and income verification. Only one month security deposit with a strong application. Pets considered on a case-to-case basis. No large dogs please.
