Barry University

This campus is pretty safe with no liquor violations and no personal crime violations within the last year or so. So have no fear walking around campus. Miami is a bustling city with over 400,000 people residing in its borders. With that many people there is obviously going to be more crime than say in a small city. According to statistics there were a total of 28,090 crimes committed in the city of Miami over the past year or so, however Miami is still 3% safter than the rest of the cities in the United States. There are many special annual events in Miami. Miami hosts the Annual Miami International Map Fair, which showcases antique maps, rare books, and atlases from all over the world. Miami hosts a fun event called the Big Cat-Nap Campout, where you get to camp out overnight at the zoo. Sounds like a lot of fun, doesn’t it? Miami hosts an international boat show every year as well, so if you’re a water enthusiast venturing to Miami might be a great idea!

Methodology

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
