I love living here! The staff is always so nice and super helpful! Jessie is awesome anytime I put a request in its normally fixed with in a day or two! I would absolutely recommend living here! I have never had any major issues and if I have any problem they actually seem to care! I have lived in other apartments and this has been by far the best complex Ive stayed in!

Just moved to The Preserve at Forest Creek and, I'm very pleased with my apartment. The only thing could be better is the parking issue. Very professional staff. Very clean, safe, and the amenities are great. Glad to be a resident of The Preserve at Forest Creek.

I have lived here for over 3 years now and my kids and I have loved it. My apartment is perfect and the amenities are awesome. Parking has been great also and maintenance staff is friendly and timely with any issues. My only regret is that I was told by the NEW staff that I cannot renew my lease because I have been late a couple of times the past few months due to illness. Of course I'm heartbroken and don't want to move, but was told that I'm going to be evicted and my things sat out on the street. It doesn't matter if I'm current with my rent or not, I will be evicted. I love my neighbors and the area and my kids ride the bus to school, so it's really disruptive to our lives. So, I highly recommend these apartments to anyone that will never be late with their rent. If your rent is not paid by the 1st, eviction process starts an the 5th.

Don't expect a parking spot near your building; our building has 24 rooms and 12 parking spaces. The company that took over doesn't seem too understanding. Online payment fee for rent is around $40+rent. The valet garbage you pay for is $25, but they seem to miss it often. They have pest control, but if animals get into the trash that you left out for valet they tell you "it is your job to pick up the garbage and re bag it." Comes with washer, dryer, and microwave so that is cool.

I've enjoyed living here. Maintenance is always pretty quick and the employees in the front are really nice. They said the pool is heated all year round, but it is not. I also not the biggest fan of the parking, but it's not horrible. I got into my 2 bedroom and got an amazing deal and they only increased but about 30 to 50 dollars when I renewed. I love it here and I love the layout of out apartment. I have to leave soon and I am kind of sad to leave.

Don't ever expect to be able to use the amenities here. Gym, basketball court, and playroom are always locked. They only have then open during office hours (when most people are working). You will pay for them for sure but will never be able to use them. Don't expect your trash to be picked up either. You will pay $25 a month extra for it on your rent even if they don't pick it up. Expect management to be unprofessional, expect your hallways to be filled with spider webs trash drippings, expect to be treated like you are living on section 8 or in a college dorm. I moved here specifically for the amenities and I have only been able to use them twice.

If I could give a 0 rating I would. When you hand over you're deposit, don't plan on ever seeing it again. These people will try and get every last dime out of you. Cleaning fees even if you spend hours cleaning. Spent over 16,000 to live here over a year and they still wanted 1,600 when I moved out! If you call to explain yourself and dispute the charges, they just tell you that you're a liar and that you have to pay no matter what. You're at their mercy. This is the honest truth. And I talked to several other hard working residents who vacated their apartment and said the same exact thing. Look elsewhere.

My husband and I are getting ready to renew our lease. Coming up on 1 year. The staff are always friendly and professional. Maintenance responds within 1 day. Our apartment is updated. The amenities are better than we could ask for. The grounds are well maintained. It is a secure diverse friendly neighborhood. The only downfall is trash service is sub par and it is mandatory that you pay for this service. Parking is issue number 2. Be willing to walk a block away from your apartment most of the time. Parking is out of control! For the most part we love it here!

This is a nice place to live. My wife and I moved to Memphis for work: we are in our mid 20s. This isn't living in Midtown: its very quiet. It has easy access to 385; this enables you to be anywhere in the memphis area in 25 minutes (with average traffic). I live in a 2BD 2 full bath. Pros of living here: -large, open room layouts -Many usable amenities: dishwasher, w&d in unit, garbage collection from your door, grill areas -excellent interaction with staff: they know me by name and help me with what I need. -When i first moved in, i had a few issues with the apartment, they were all address within a few days. -Less than 10 minutes from many shopping areas -Nice gym, indoor basketball court -As of right now, the cost of living is around average for this area: there might be better deals but you're going to sacrifice something for the cost difference. -My wife feels safe here. This is probably the biggest pro. -They seem relatively cost efficient: i keep it 75 during the day, 73 at night. In May 2015, my power bill was $110. In March of 2015 (which was cold mostly), it was $85. I do practice ensuring lights are turned on and minimal energy use besides heating/cooling. Cons of living here: -The HVAC system is loud: this could just be my apartment. but when it kicks on, the volumes of all your things (tv, computer, music) have to increase. It is placed adjacent the master bedroom and it takes some getting used to when you're going to sleep. -30 gallon hot water heater for a 2 bedroom apartment: both showers cannot be operated at the same time without one person taking a cold one. This might not be a problem if you're in a 1 bathroom unit, but it sucks for families. -Apartments do not include ceiling fans: while the complex offers to install your own, this is slightly annoying. Living rooms and bedrooms do not include over head lights either. This may not be a con for you, but it is kind of annoying. -Kids have left dog poop infront of neighbors/mine door. SERIOUSLY. Overall good but there are things to be known before moving in.

Really fantastic place to live! Very quiet, and the pool / workout facility / indoor basketball court are really nice. Parking is only an issue if you have a bunch of groceries and can't handle walking an extra 50 feet. Lots of people walking dogs, but I've never seen and evidence left behind :) Also, garbage is picked up at the apartment five nights a week....I've NEVER had such an AWESOME service!!! No dragging the bag of trash to the front of the complex; just put it in the black trash can, leave it outside in the evening (between 6 and 8pm), and it's gone in the morning!

We didn't mind the place so much while we lived there. The trash compactor was always broken, and trash piled up outside by the main entrance. Also, they shut down the 2nd entrance a month after we moved in, and it was never open again. Therefore only one entrance, whose gates was more often than not broken and standing wide open, so much for safety. Parking was also a problem, and we had multiple problems with the roof leaking. However it was okay while we lived there. The worse problem is that 6 months after we moved out they called and said we owed a $1200 bill. They never wrote to us, even though they had our new address, and then out of the blue call and say pay now. Sketchy, very rude and not how a good business should be run.

So, we lived in their 'sister' community in Raleigh, NC. Aside from the loud family living above us, the place was great - well maintained, clean and pleasant common areas. helpful and friendly office staff, plenty of parking, great view. We moved to Memphis and leased an apartment at the Preserve thinking we lucked out with having a place we were familiar with and liked. Sadly, we are disappointed. The grounds are dirty, dog poop everywhere that isn't picked up, parking problems - people park all over the place and the office staff are not only not helpful, they're not even aware of their own policies. I would definitely not recommend this complex. Oh, and the prices here are not worth it. You can lease a house for what we're paying for this apartment.
