The following is an old review I retracted, but due to my recent internet service, I'm putting it back. It's the only way I know to hold Blue Rim and Maple Valley accountable: Heat, water, electricity- these are utilities. They more or less get done no matter who is doing it. Internet service- NOT A UTILITY. There is a huge range of variation in the quality of internet providers. Internet service should remain a choice. I love everything about living at Maple Valley with one recent exception- the requirement to switch to Blue Rim internet. Maple Valley is adding internet as a "utility" into their total billing. However, Blue Rim doesn't provide a good internet service and Blue Rim reviews in Logan certainly reflect that. Its amazing how much the switch to Blue Rim has lowered the quality of our lives- my immigrant wife has not effectively skyped her family since the switch (~ 2 months ago), our only source of entertainment is recycling through the same DVDs because Netflix does not stream, and I stay at school now until 10 or 11 in the evening to use its reliable internet. I am a graduate student and depend on internet access to do my studies. Supposedly there was a problem with Blue Rim installation (2 months ago) here at Maple Valley, but Blue Rim doesn't know where the problem is and yet they are promising it will be fixed in "only several weeks from now". Apartment management has made a good faith effort for the inconvenience- not billing for internet while this fiasco unfolds. However, that does not change the fact that I already jumped ship with Xfinity and gave back my router. I could go month to month with Xfinity (which I very well plan to do) but I have to arrange it and probably overlap with internet billing when Blue Rim finally does get its act together- its just kind of a pain in the you know what. Plus I will never get back the special deal I had with Xfinity. Why couldn't residents keep their current services until Blue Rim was verified up and running??? Like we couldn't foresee problems based on the horrible reviews this provider has??? Give me a break. Apartment management has also informed me that Blue Rim works wonders in other properties they manage. Well that would be a very consoling fact except that I don't live at another property- I live here at Maple Valley- If this statement was supposed to engender trust in Blue Rim, too late. I've lost all trust in Blue Rim and anything Maple Valley has to say about Blue Rim. If internet is major factor in your day-to-day life, you might want to reconsider Maple Valley. The internet issue is why I am giving a 3 instead of a 4 or 5. However, like I said before, I do love living here and internet issues aside, this place is awesome.

TERRIBLE! If I could give this apartment complex a zero star rating I would. READ THIS IS YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT MAPLE VALLEY APARTMENTS. When we moved in we were excited because everyone seemed nice. It's all a lie. Once you sign your contract you're screwed. First thing they did after about 2 months in they made us switch over to their terrible internet that costs 50 bucks a month and never works. You constantly have to call the office which they don't know what to do and can't help you. Then when they're tired of your phone calls they just tell you to call the internet provider which they as well do nothing. I've lost countless homework assignments do to the internet cutting out. I had to quit my stay at home job because the internet wasn't dependable and they wouldn't allow us to get a different provider. Second, the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything! I never cared once about it until my neighbors complained about me for walking "too loudly" or playing my music at 2 in the afternoon... this happened multiple times where I was given a noise notice. That's when I lost my patience. Not going to lie out of the whole building we lived in all of our neighbors were rude. We literally were told to "F-Off" when we waved at our neighbors in passing after we just moved in. You may be thinking "You probably were a terrible tenant"... Sure if a terrible tenant is never home because they work full time, are in school full time, and paid rent on time. I was NEVER home but yet still hated it here. The whole building was complaining about everyone and everything, maybe we just got unlucky in our building but what are the odds of that. The management sucks and they never want to work with you, their contract is a huge joke! So many things that are out of date, contradicting, and just trying to sneak any money out of you that they can. Not even the management could answer all the questions we had about the contract. Do not move here if you want peace and quiet, nice neighbors, friendly and helpful management or just a place that feels like home. This is the worst community/apartment complex I've ever lived in. Random thing: There is no phone service over here if you're with AT&T but they can't do anything about that. If I had to say one nice thing.... they have a nice hot tub.

I have a few friends that live there. They were required to switch to this apartments new Internet provider by the management. I've attached a copy of a speed test with this new provider. It's not even that impressive of a service. It's spotty and struggles to stream videos well. It's not a bad place to live at, and some people are happy. But there's some merit to the other reviews when they say the the previous management was better. It's some poor customer service when you require your tenants to make a switch like that, to a poorer service when they had the flexibility to pick their own provider before. Edit: I don't know why it's uploading. I'll keep trying but the results were .88mbps dwn load speed and an upload of 45.5 Mbps

Maple Valley surpasses every other apartment I've lived in when it comes to price, management, and overall experience. They were great at keeping us notified when any changes were happening and I never felt like they sprung anything on us. They don't charge for stupid little things like most places do. You won't find an apartment this nice and this inexpensive anywhere in Logan!

Maple Valley has been great to live at! The Manager is very friendly and professional. They are easy to get a hold of for any problems we have had in the past and resolve the issues quickly. I have lived here since May of 2015. It's a really nice place and I'm very happy with my apartment. Fernando and the maintenance guys are super quick to respond to any issues. Pool is nice, hot tub is hot, and gym is good. Only thing I think they could improve on is if they had a squat rack in the gym.

So my family and I have been here for two years and like it. Since moving in there have been some changes, like speed bumps and having to put stickers on your car and also a limit on how many cars per apartment. These have been a good thing, the speed bumps have slowed down many drivers because before cars would fly through here and I have yelled at people to slow down. The stickers and only 3 car rule is good. There are less cars here taking up space for us that live here. Yes you will get booted if you don't have a sticker or a parking pass from the office. People have complained because they got booted but the office gave them at least 3 weeks notice to get a sticker. They had papers on all the doors and in the office so it is only the fault of the drivers for not getting a sticker. And like any change of ownership/business management it takes time to get the bugs worked out but now the place runs very smooth. The office manager and maintenance manager are helpful and friendly and try their hardest to get concerns taken care of.

When I first moved in here it was great, the manager Jermain was very helpful and the maintenance guy, who is still here, is wonderful. Then Jermain left and it all went down hill. I can assume that anyone who moved into a decent apartment here probably wouldn't have issues because they wouldn't have to deal with management. Dealing with the new guys is irritating to put it lightly. Lacking both decent interpersonal communication skills and any sort of empathy are not things for the employees who are the face of the company. Furthermore property management decisions have been getting very sloppy too. I don't know who is in charge of making decisions like "only 3 cars per apartment" or "no parking past midnight in non-designated spot" which they will boot you for. It's all pretty anti struggling college student. I would understand if there was a parking issue here but there simply isn't. I have lived here for more than 2 years and I have never had trouble finding a spot. Then there is the leaking washers in the laundry room which shows a general lack of care for their own facilities and large speedbumps, which haven't stopped the guy with the motorcycle from blasting past my window at all hours of the day. Management as a whole just continues to make bad decisions and I fear this trend will continue which is why my roommates and I are looking for a new place.

This is a wonderful place to live - it's kept really nice by management, and everyone is super friendly. However, the hard part is getting a hold of them. I don't need to speak with management regularly, so it's not a big problem, but the few times I have, I either don't receive a reply for several weeks or if I go down to the office to talk in person, it's totally hit or miss whether anyone will even be in there during office hours. They seem to be getting better about being in the office, so hopefully no one else will have the same problem as me.

I used to manage some other apartments as one of my past jobs and I really enjoyed my stay at maple valley apartments. They have a nice pool, hot tub, and sweet club house. They also have nice spacious grounds that are well maintained. The apartments were clean when I moved in and they were fair when I moved out. They are ran by a professional staff that is fair and works with you if work with them. I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment to try Maple Valley Apartments in Logan
