Commuting is not a problem for this campus, since it is mostly a commuter campus. People coming from Oakland, Pleasanton and Livermore will find the travel easy enough. Taking the I-580 will put you in the right direction, if you’re in town or coming from Oakland just take exit 51 (East and Westbound I-580) off from the interstate and it’s smooth sailing from there. You can always take various side streets in order to get to the Collier Canyon Road entrance, if you’re on I-580 you can take the Airway Blvd exit to get to that side of campus. There is so much to do in Livermore, California. From culture to entertainment, this is definitely a great place to enjoy yourself. Downtown offers a vast array of shops and restaurants. During the summer months live outdoor music can be heard bellowing through the streets.You can also pay a visit to many of the wineries in town. This town sports many annual wine festivals for your enjoyment. There is something for pretty much anyone here, and as their motto says “There’s more here.”
