My roommates and I have seen and heard mice in the apartment and in the vents but nobody has come to fix this issue, we've contacted them at least 5x. The wifi is not good enough to support video calls, and most of the residents have video calls instead of in-person classes now due to COVID-19. I've been living here for a few months now and ever since we moved in, there have been persistent gnat issues in various locations of the apartment (kitchen, bathrooms, by windows in bedrooms, etc). Recently, we found out we have a mouse in the apartment. My roommates and I have seen it twice. We've also been hearing scratching in the vents ever since we moved in so we believe there must be another mouse or rodent in the vents. As of recently, when turning on the bathroom fan downstairs we hear inconsistent LOUD squeaking noises so we don't use it anymore. We've contacted the office (explaining these issues in detail) to get pest control or SOMEONE to take care of this issue for almost a week now and nothing has happened. We were promised to have pest control come take a look last Wednesday but they never came and now we have to wait until this Wednesday. When we talked to them today (it's Monday now and we've been contacting them since Wednesday), they told us this is the first time they've heard of this issue. When my roommate asked if they would make any accommodations for the extreme efforts we've had to put in to get the issue solved, she said the best they can do is "put in a request for pest control" which has been done (last week they told us this was done so there's no way this is the FIRST time they've heard of this issue) and pest control "should" come on Wednesday. They don't sound confident that pest control will fix this issue and I sincerely wish they would take this more seriously. Everything besides these issues has been fine in this apartment, but I just wish they were prompt about fixing the issue of rodents in our apartment. My roommates and I are not too picky, we are pretty easy-going people but this is something we won't tolerate and are pretty disgusted by.
