The best bang for your bucks. I lived there with my family for a year before moving out of state due to my military status. My Experience there was good non the less. Professional staff and Awesome maintenance team who make sure you are OK and fix problems ASAP. Now of course there were hick-ups during the year I did not approve of but hey that's life and the housing in Lansing that is nice is limited and overpriced due to the University students being close. But the schools are close which I believed is Reo Elem. but your child can go to Elliot Elem in the better school distract if you drive them to school. The YMCA was close and Boys Club also. Right near the freeway and shopping centers were perfect and local youth sports teams are near by. I do have to say cause the apartments are in South Lansing, which you have to take with face value "it is, what it is" but I am sure you wont find a better townhome style in Lansing without over paying for it and I've lived all across the country. But my car was never bothered or place broken into plus there are a few active duty military member who live in these usually so I consider it safe. Neighbors are neighbors but everybody was kind and the children well will be children playing together.

I must say the ventilation is horrible.The smells that come thru the vents stink and you don't know which way it's coming from or who to blame. I don't like to complain for the fact I'm barely home because I'm in the military but the marijuana smell I've been coming home to the past few weeks is completely ridiculous. I mean I pull in at night and the young guys are in their vehicle smoking away entire parking lot reaks not to mention the Loud music they blast in the parking lot the office is typically closed during these times so there's no one to complain to. Leasing agents are GREAT and i haven't had any major matinence issues. No complaints there just the young neighbors and their boyfriends who indulge in drug using and loud music and these days calling the police just leads to more issues much more safer to just relocate for the rate we pay but I will definitely read the reviews of the property first next go round.

Just moved in over 2months ago and I CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT!!! Unfortunately we're stuck in this lease, surrounded by inconsiderate neighbors, kids running up and down the stairs, horrible insulation, BWL bill sky high because everything runs off a OUTDATED WATER HEATER. Unit is like everything was bandage and after a month things will fall apart. Low income tenants EVERYWHERE who complain about EVERYTHING!!! I will not be renewing my lease!! If your looking for quiet living I WOULDNT SUGGEST MOVING HERE.!! Kids are EVERYWHERE!! Maintenance sucks and materials are cheap, carpet is OLD!! Toilets constantly backing up and nosey neighbors all around. I'm so over this place and it hasn't even been 90days. Ask to walk thru your unit and ask questions about the neighbors I should've requested a different unit better yet I should've chosen a different place to live and now I'm just completely uncomfortable EVERYDAY.

My husband and I moved to 900 West site unseen from another state. The leasing staff was very nice to us when we signed our lease. However the day of move-in my husband walked through our unit and the carpeting upstairs was not replaced. It is so matted down you cannot even vacuum it. We were told that they are not required to change the carpet. It looks gross. Then after a month we had issues with neighbors that the office has been "working" on for months. If we had walked through this property prior to signing a lease we would not have moved in. If your worried about safety of your children and moving in to a clean unit, do not move here!

Poor experience living there, moved out as soon as my lease was up. Building was falling apart, dryer ventilation and air conditioning issues. Very little insulation made heating very expensive in the winter. The place was just dirty and cramped. The area in general is less than stellar. Litter everywhere, inconsiderate neighbors, and subpar management made living here a bad experience. Would not recommended!

I lived there for a year. I moved from Ann Arbor knowing very less about lansing area. It was a 3 bedroom condo. In winter the heat does not work properly and in summer the air condition does not work. One of the room's vent was blocked completely. It took them 6 months to fix it. It was a renovated unit but they used very cheap materials. Everything started to fall apart after couple of months. It was not insulated properly, you can feel the wind passing through window sides and the front door. It was impossible to sit in the living room during winter due to wind issues. I complained about it so many times but they don't listen. My bills were always high more than $200/month. And there were some serious bugs in there(which they tried to eliminate but never succeeded). If you go there and request their service record you will see all those complains. Cops trying to break into a house is very common thing in that complex. It was scary and loud(loud music in parking). For the safety of your family don't move there. They have very expensive lease breaking policy. Once you rent it you have to wait till your lease ends.
