Started off great... moved in on the 26th of March. Today on April 11th I go out side to find my vehicle had been towed without the 10day notice that is clearly in our lease agreement. Come to find out the vehicle was actually towed because of lack of "resident sticker" - which ultimately was NEVER given to us. Sure they offered to pay the $100 fee we had to pay the tow company to release our car - however not one cent offered for the undue stress of having a vehicle basically stolen/removed due to their stupidity. Not one cent offered for the loss of work from today. Not even an apology.

Maintenance staff left the door to the apartment wide open for hours with a key in the lock. We found it over 2.5 hours later when getting home. When called to complain, they only thing they cared about was getting the key back. They showed no remorse or offered any apology for what happened or the fact that they were responsible. Horribly run property. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

When I first moved here there were at least 4 people assigned to clean up after lazy dog owners who refused to clean up after their dogs. However, around September, I started noticing how there were areas that had been neglected such as any part of the property that has pine needles. Then around Christmas I started noticing how the problem had spread throughout the property and I finally complained. Normally, when I have a problem or complaint the resolve the entire problem immediately. Unfortunately, it took a lot longer than I expected when I complained about the problem with other dog owners to get it resolved. At first, they only cleaned where I pointed out the visible droppings and nothing else. It was frustrating because the problem was bigger than one little area, and to make matters worse, the area that had been cleaned up literally one day before had dog droppings the next day. I complained for a month which as mentioned earlier that this is not typical of me to bring up a service issue and it not get completely resolved in a very timely manner. This was different and I now realize that, because somehow someway the responsibilities of the workers had changed and had to be updated. Since then, this place is as clean and possibly is even cleaner than when I had moved in. Every day there is a crew working very hard to keep the property looking nice by cleaning up any trash such as cigarette butts and now there is a special crew that goes from one building to the other just picking up after lazy dog owners. I am very happy to call this place my home and would recommend it to anyone. Just be patient with the staff when it comes to major problems that requires time and permission from their bosses to make a systematic change. Yes, there should not have been a problem in the first place, but for anyone moving in this is no longer a problem. They fix everything as quickly as possible.

When I first moved here this was an awesome place to live and I would have given it a 5 star rating. However, there must have been management change because all of sudden there is dog poop everywhere. The only time management or staff actually clean up the dog poop is when I write a service request and to my dismay they quickly respond saying the work order is completed, but to my surprise when I walk my dog I see dog poop everywhere I walk and I always walk on the road so I know they can see what I see with no effort required. My suggestion is that if you considering moving in that you contest the cost of the dog DNA, because I promise you that if you walk your dog you are guaranteed to step on dog poop regardless if you walk your dog on the road or on the grass. If it is this bad when I am walking my dog on the road just imagine if you walk your dog on the grass or pine needles. Avoid the pine needles because that is the worst area. I once took my dog through the pine trees on our residence for 15 minutes and stepped on dog poop twice. Since then I no longer walk my dog on the grass or through the pine trees.

Copper Pointe made moving in here sound fun and exciting... That didnt last long. Not even a month into living here our air conditioner went out, this was also in the middle of the summer and when we had called maintenance they looked around at our A/C unit and said Oh nothing is wrong with it. My meters are showing that everything is fine. So for the whole summer we sat with our A/C constantly blowing 80 degree air or we had to turn it off and open our windows. We didnt just call maintenance once we would call several times and we would get the same answer, or they would have our A/C working for about 2 days and it would be broken again. Another run in we had with maintenance was when our pipes in the kitchen busted they were leaking water under the counter. We called them to come out and fix it and got blessed out because they said it wasnt important that water was leaking out everywhere onto the kitchen floor. Their saying was that it was a problem that we could have fixed ourselves. Other than the maintenance we have also had problems with the irresponsible management and loud absusive neighbors. We would not recommend Copper Pointe to ANYONE moving into the area.. it has been nothing but trouble since the first month we moved in. We can not wait to get out of here shortly and never look back.

Those at the leasing office that I have interacted with are not very polite, and apparently half the time they do not know what they are doing. They do not treat the tenants as a priority, it took almost four months and five different maintenance calls to get someone to look at my dishwasher and according to them it's "fine"... obviously it is not if I've had to call repeatedly for it to be fixed. I've resolved to just hand-washing again because it's not worth the headache anymore. This is just the most recent example of the never-ending problems dealt with living here. Definitely will NOT be renewing my lease.

This is my second time living in this apartment complex. The updating/upgrades they have done since my first residency here, in which I lived here for 5 years, are very stylish and modern. They also implement "Doggy DNA", so the pet owners pick up after their dogs and you don't have to worry about you or your kids stepping in poopie while out walking/playing...NICE!! This is a wonderful place to live weather you are single or have a family. They have several social events for the residents at their clubhouse along with a nice, well-lit tennis court, pool, playground and picnic areas to enjoy. They even have a community garden for the residents to plant and grow their own vegetables, etc! In addition to all the wonderful amenities they offer, the office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful! If something happens to break, the maintenance staff can usually fix it the same day.

RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!! During my stay at Copper Pointe Floyds Wrecker Service improperly towed my vehicle although I was in full compliance with paragraph twelve (12) of my lease agreement and visibly displayed my parking tag on my vehicle. As a result of this blatantly improper towing I was not only late to work, but had to pay for an uber service to take me to the towing service. Copper Pointe and Floyds were aware of their mistakes. Floyd's admitted to the imporper towing, and nothing was done. There was no reimbursement. Even more troubling, I am a young, single female with no family in Knoxville, Tennessee. I was utterly traumatized by the disappearance of my vehicle in the middle of the night from an apartment complex I believed I could entrust my personal belongings to. Had it not been for the improper and intolerable actions of Copper Pointes paid towing vendor, I would not have had to suffer from the emotional trauma of believing my car had been stolen and the physical damage of missing work in an attempt to locate a vehicle that should never have been towed in the first place. Copper Pointe Apartments utilizes an online portal for payment of rents. At the conclusion of my lease Ihad a Three Hundred Sixty-Five Dollar and 20/100 ($365.20) surplus in my online account. Without proper notice or any apparent justification, Copper Pointe Apartments seized these funds and informed me that I owed a remaining balance of Twelve Dollars and 00/100 ($12.00). Copper Pointe Apartments further informed mer there was no damage to her my and provided me with a summarized print-out from a Ledger management system. This document is incomprehensible. Simply put, I never submitted my rent payment past its due date as indicated in the lease. Therefore, the seizure of funds from my account is improper, unlawful, and entirely without justification. Copper Point Apartments does not have clean hands in this matter. Despite my repeated and documents requests for repairs: (i) the light in my kitchen never functioned properly, or at all; (ii) the air conditioner never worked properly; (iii) an electrical problem in the spare bedroom rendered two hairdryers inoperable, thereby causing further property damage; (iv) the bathroom tub twice leaked into the downstairs apartment; and (v) I was subjected to recurring mold in the bathroom tub that could not be cured by daily cleaning. Upon information and belief, the foundation of the bathroom tub contains extensive mold and threatened my health. In sum, my year-long stay at Copper Pointe Apartments was a utter nightmare. I would NOT recommend this complex to my worst enemy. Upon moving out a sent a letter to Copper Pointe office as well as their corporate office demanding a refund of the $365.20. Almost 3 months later and I still have not received a response from them. .

My husband and our 3 month old son moved to Copper Pointe a couple months ago, we we're looking for a 3 month lease and they worked with us to get us the best deal possible. The place is gorgeous and up to date. The staff are so nice and friendly. We have had absolutely no issues and this was the perfect place for us for the time being. We are going back to school but have already talked about returning to Copper Pointe once we are finished with school. Definitely the best value for your money!!!!

I would NEVER recommend Copper Pointe apartments to anyone searching for an apartment complex that genuinely cares about the well-being of its residents. My husband and I have had a horrible experience living at Copper Pointe. To start with, maintenance issues are a commonality. In our first year, the air condition stopped working several times and the pipes going to the HVAC continually flood. Also, our garbage disposal gets backed up and floods the apartment. Water damage in the ceiling was bad when we first moved in and still is. The maintenance staff solution is to patch over it until it needs re-patching again instead of fixing the source of the problem. There is ZERO insulation for the doors and the walls are super thin. You can clearly hear the conversations of your neighbors in the apartment beside you, so there is little privacy. The property advertises itself as newly renovated, but the building structure itself is old and needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The buildings are practically falling apart. The courtesy officer that lives on the property is just for looks. The apartments are not safe. Crime takes place at Copper Pointe on a continual basis. My wallet was stolen out my locked car last year. Most recently, my car was stolen from right in front of my building. Instead of being concerned about the incident, their response was hopefully it wasn't really stolen. I posted on Facebook about the incident and they removed themselves from the tag. Copper Pointe apartments spends a majority of their time running from issues instead of facing them. I have been a resident for 3 years and will be leaving this fall. They go up on rent every year on average between $20-30 at minimum and only allow residents to renew leases for 12 months or less; they do not value their residents. Also, be prepared for added fees such as billing fee, trash pick up, and water to raise what rent price they are advertising by at least $50 more. My husband and I pay $1,000 for a 2-bedroom apartment. Save yourself the trouble, instead of fattening their wallets, find a place that provides value for the money you invest.

First of all, I am never one to go and write a bad review even if it was a horrible experience. But I just wanted to address this situation since the staff of Copper Pointe are simply ignoring my e-mails. The place is nice but not worth the amount they ask for monthly. My husband and I never had a late payment and due to work reasons we had to move elsewhere. Since we broke our contract, we had to pay around $300 a month until our lease "expired". I understand, a contract is a contract, and we have been paying that. But it's hard to understand why, because I know that someone is already living in that apartment. So basically, they are getting two payments for one apartment. Secondly, I e-mailed them twice about maybe getting the last three payments voided and they blatantly ignored me. It was out of our control to move and they just made it more difficult with adding on that additional monthly payment. I would have understood if they would have replied and said no we cannot void that, but to ignore someone who is reaching out? That's ridiculous. Also, I know they're ignoring me because I had a friend e-mail them about the apartments and they replied to them within two hours when I cannot get a reply after five days. How rude. So just saying, watch out for this apartment complex.

When I first moved in here everything was great. The maintenance people were great and timely. However, in the last month this place has done a complete 360. I had to have a total knee reconstruction. I asked to have a handicap parking spot. I had to go to the office three times in eight days to get this done. Then my water heater broke. Water was everywhere down the hall, in both bedrooms and bathrooms. Maintenance came up real quick. I had just purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer last year. The first man had to climb up on my washer and dryer to turn the water off. He put his knee between the two appliances as to not damage either one. I watched him do that with no problem. Then two other men came in with a shop vacation and a two wheeler. I had to back out of the way. I told them to be careful with my appliances. I had to leave and go to physical therapy at that point. When I got back the new water heater was in. The top of my dryer had a bid dent in it. There was a dent in my washer also. The carpet in both bedrooms was wet. No note from anyone. I have been told 3 times we will call you the next day. That never happened. Supposedly they have put in a request for a check to replace the units as I was told they would do. I do not believe that. They have not been truthful with me. I am having to get a lawyer now. UNBELIEVABLE! If this place told me it was daylight outside at noon time I would go to the window and look outside. I called there corporate office to no avail. I left a message. Do you think anyone there will return my call. I do not. If anyone in this place kept their word to me it would be living proof that God is still performing miracles.

My friend lives in these apartments! I came to help her move in last weekend and loved it! Her kitchen is FREAKING AWESOME!!!!! I met a couple of the girls in the office and they were so sweet and helpful. While we were moving one of the guys on the maintenance staff helped us carry it in a few things. They were very thoughtful and on top of it. The only draw back is that visitor parking is a little far from her building. Also, the dumpster for the recycling is on the other side of the community, but other than that everything was GREAT!

People let their dogs crap everywhere and they don't clean up after their dogs. Some of my neighbors have dogs and I never see them take their dogs out, they let them crap inside. I know this because I see the bagged up dog crap outside their front door stinking up the breezeway. This place is a dump. You smell dog crap inside and outside of the complex. There should be a rule of no dogs crapping or pissing within 30 feet of the buildings. The only nice part of the place is the outside of the units. Don't be fooled, the apartments are junk. Nothing like the pictures you see online. The furnace looks like it is from 1970 and very unsafe. they are supposed to have a blue flame but when it is on and your in the room with the lights off, you see orange flame. No maintenance is ever done on it. I don't know how it passes inspection. The air conditioning system is as old as the furnace. It will run with out stopping from May to the start of the cool season. $300 electric bill a month to stay cool. Moved out six weeks ago and was never so happy to leave a place. Literal shit hole. It would be a nice place if they would update all of the apartments, and limit the number of dogs that can live here, and put up a gate. There should be a size limit for a dog and the number of dogs per apartment. The smell from other apartments will leak into yours. Trust me, spend the extra 50 to 100 dollars and get yourself a better place. Parking sucks. In the summer people would come out of the exercise room all sweaty and just jump into the pool, gross. You will be awakened every night by barking dogs, people driving through with loud music, and people that don't even live there will drive through at 2 am to go dumpster diving. Needs to be a gated community to keep the riff raff out in the wee hours of the morning. Very unsafe area as there is little outside lighting at night and anyone could be lurking in the dark. I have seen people at night that go from car to car checking to find unlocked vehicles so they can steal stuff out of them. The front door could just be pushed open with a small amount of force even when locked, not very secure. Everything inside is out of alignment, doors don't close, windows are old as hell and hard to open, very very very run down complex. All they do when someone moves out is spray paint over the dirt and call it good. Our place smelled like cat piss for the entire time we lived there, we DON'T have a cat. Should be a 500 dollar apartment, not 1000. Don't be fooled by the nice club house and the pictures online.

I read the reviews before I moved in and thought it can't be that bad .. well it is and worse!!!! There is dog poop all over the place, no parking and the apartment is junk! The entire place is terrible!! I wont rant on about the numerous things wrong, just find another place to live!! 6 fires in 4 years ... HMMMM that should be enough to scare you away. Not to mention the number of times you will be without water.

You have to walk in the parking lot or on the dog feces covered grass. The laundry room didn't have a change machine and only worked part of the time. My front door wasn't even level. Nightmare place...truly!!! Also, when I moved in, there were spots on the carpet. They were noted when I moved in, but somehow I got charged for them when I moved out. Very shady management.

I agree with so many people on the negitive side of Cooper Pointe, we loved it at first when we moved in, then they changed managers so many times the left hand, did not know what the right hand was doing. You get one thing from one manager and then the next it is not the same. Well that is a bunch of BS. It's like they have their favorite people who they let do what ever. It plainly states no aggressive dogs and our dog was not aggressive but because he was a brindle color we had to get rid of him becuase some NOISEY PERSON said it was a pit bull and he was not a pit, any way the is just one of the many issues with this place. They also wanted to charge me 40.00 for a 10.00 blind that I know they got from Walmart and charge me for carpet replacement that I was told would be replaced after I had been there a year and was there over a year, but when I moved out it was charged to me. DON'T LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
