When I looked for an apartment, I needed peace and quiet. I CHOSE to upgrade my landscaping..WAS ALLOWED BY MANAGEMENT..the grounds are very Manicured and Green green Green. There are a few children here and the pool was just cleaned meticulously and filtered to a perfect blue water....but people MUST respect a property for it to stay BEAUTIFUL AS WE ALL PAY TO HAVE
Management is very PATIENT TO ALL THE PARENTS here and their children. There are huge gardens, pool, and sidewalks. They have cameras to supervise for safety to Everyone. Parents are ultimately responsible for their kiddos. I've never seen such patience for children. VERY KID FRIENDLY APARTMENT. DOGS AND CATS ARE LOVED JUST AS MUCH
I take my pooch to a private dog park on the grounds...kept Clean. I am ALWAYS GREETED by staff of Margaret, who is HERE every day and answers emails, person to person and phone calls SAME DAY. I believe if the tenant respects their area, pays rent on time and watches their kids and pets.....you'll HAVE THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING ON 1960..I walk to Pappadeux, Pappasitos and Whataburger. I also walk to work. Convenient and Quiet.

Just started a fresh new lease. Had two walls painted: one with a beautiful Blue and The Living Room with a Brick Red. Security and Towing enforced here for Parking. I appreciate ALL the cameras around the community. I feel safe and at Home, not just another apartment. Management is OUTSTANDING!!!!

They've offered to Clean carpets, allowed me to lanscape 2 PATIOS...YES you get two private patios here...
Have a New accent wall Program...I've got my bedroom blue and living room Burgundy....their painters are Very skilled...NOISE IS MINIMAL HERE..management doesn't tolerate Trash on grounds, noise from neighbors. THIS IS A VERY ACCOMODATING AND SPECIAL PLACE TO CALL HOME.

I am a happy resident and live in the 100 building. I love the new cameras. Location is great. Next to pappadeux, and Methodist Willowbrook. The mall is three blocks away. It is quiet and peaceful. They let you landscape your area to your taste. They keep my packages in the office from USPS instead of just sitting them by your front door. Come talk to the staff. They are all so sweet and professional. Look at my pictures.
Okay so Today is 6/20/2017. And THE GROUNDS ARE GORGEOUS,ILL POST PICS. MY APT has stainless steel appliances. Btw you get a FULL SIZE WASHER/DRYER, STOVE, DISHWASHER AND MICROWAVE...They have pool, gated around entire property, hot tub ,work out room, computer room with up to date screens, pool table, club house, and all the locks work on the gates. The place is Five star. WELCOME to your new home. I fell in love at first sight.. oh dog friendly place.....meow and woof.

I moved from this complex back in December but before then I lived there for 4 years. Absolutely loved living there once Margaret became...
I moved from this complex back in December but before then I lived there for 4 years. Absolutely loved living there once Margaret became the manager. She is super sweet and she went above and beyond her job. The only thing is you can hear everything if you live on the 1st floor. I moved to the 3rd floor and didnt hear a thing, but I got nervous living there alone because of the break ins. Other than that, I had no problems.

Will REVIEW WHEN MANAGER FIXES...I can't sleep...WHICH THIS PROPERTY IS STRICT....

My experience with this apartment community has been great! It is a quiet nice community. Haven't had to complain about noice issues. The only downside is there is not enough parking spaces. If you get here after a certain time, and don't have a paid parking spot, your chances of walking are very high. But everything else is great from the layout of the apartments to the staff!

I am in need of an apartment ASAP and Champions Centre was in the area I need to move to. I let them know about my past issues and they told me it wouldn't a problem so without hesitation I paid their application fee Friday and waited for a callback. Knowing their office closes at 6pm I called at 5:00pm to ask what was going on because at 1:00 when I had filled out their application the leasing agent said she would have the results back within 30 minutes. The manager of the complex answered and meeting her earlier in the day she knew who I was and said that she would email her boss to see if he would be able to make an exception for me. She said she would call me back in 10 minutes. She did not call so I called her back at 5:50 and no one would answer their phone and it was still before 6pm. The next day I called and one of the other agents I did not work with said Margret was out of the office for personal reasons so I did not question that and decided to dis continue shopping for an apartment until Monday after I would hear back from Margret. This morning (Monday morning) I still had not received a follow up phone call so I went to see her in person. She said she could not help me. Rediculous no follow up period. Don't waste your money here. I would not recommend this place to anyone because If you do indeed lease here you cannot trust this woman she will smile in your face and and tell you what you want to hear even if it is a lie. Not surprised this place only has 2.9 stars.

I always look at reviews because i have 2 daughters & i am always concerned with safety etc. Reading the reviews is why i decided to post my review. I've had minor maintenance issues & they are addressed right away. Margaret & Savannah were the best with helping me decide between this property & their sister property. I am so happy with my choice. The pool & grounds are always nice & clean. The property is pet friendly with a small dog park. This is my first time having valet trash & its very convenient for us. The parking is not assigned but you are also given the option to ask for covered parking or a garage for an extra fee. Every employee that works on the property has always been friendly & helpful. They have some events for tenants at the leasing office. I haven't been able to attend because i was working or out of town, but i appreciate the lengths management goes to for the tenants. Thank you Margaret for being a great property manager!

Now that we are nearing the end of our lease we see a totally different side to them. Over the past weekend we had the property manager illegally enter our apartment. She stated our patio door was open and as the property manager she was allowed to go into our apartment and close the door and do a walk through. Our rent for this month was paid and we were slowly moving our stiff out due to finding a different.....and cheaper place to live. The property manager never called to tell us the patio door was open, nor did she call us to verify if it was okay if she shut the door. There also wasn't a 24 hour notice given about entering our apartment. I would have never known about her coming into our apartment without permission if she had not called me being extremely rude about a completely different situation. She then proceeded to tell me that she was told by someone that we were moving our stuff out and that there was a lot of activity there....so therefore she stated because our door was open she had every right to enter our property and then conduct a walkthrough without us being present......now according to the lease agreement they are required to give a minimum of 24 hour notice that they will be entering the property and they also have to leave a note stating they were in there......neither of which she did because apparently she is above the law. There was not an emergency such as a fire or an extreme flood....so there were no grounds for her to come into our residence and go through our things just because she wants to be nosey. We have attempted to contact corporate in regards to this because their employee broke the lease agreement. But of course they don't want to return phone calls, so I guess our next step is to get our attorney involved. I would suggest not renting from this place, their prices are outrageous and they never enforce parking and they apparently allow people to smoke drugs and drink excessively in the pool area due to there being no security or cameras. I don't feel safe being in my apartment considering their employees are allowed to come and go as they please in my residence without proper approval or authorization. If the law cannot enter my home without a warrant then why on earth does a property manager think she can enter whenever she feels like it.......oh and the best thing.....the patio door was never open, we were there throughout the weekend.....and if it was in fact opened at one point, why did we not receive a phone call? Just some of the shady crap they do and they think they can treat paying residents like this and get away with it. Such a shame and a bad way to run a business.

Hi, I am staying here for last 20 months, Some times parking u will not get. Other appliance, environment is ok. Maintenance team is some times not able to fix the issue. In my stay two times stolen from the apartment once in my home. When someone was stealing from my apartment maintenance was going in first floor around 12:30 PM. They have broken my main door lock. it will be better if they put Camera inside and outside the apartment. Before u rent ask for camera installation...else don't stay.

I think we've lived here long enough to give a proper review. First of all, ladies in the office are great. Savannah and Margaret are very kind and understanding. They've been great in dealing with the minimal amount of issues we've had. Second, the complex is very quiet. I feel safe walking from my car to my building at night when I come home late, or walking my dog late at night. There aren't random kids or people hanging around the parking lot or cars. Third, the walls are very thick. We don't hear our neighbors that are on our floor. We do hear the people that live above us but the key word here is "live". Most people need to walk around their apartment in order to meet their needs and live. Their noise is not obnoxious to the point where we feel the need to complain on them. Fourth, we've had a few minor issues that required maintenance fixing. Maintenance is fast and efficient and were in and out of our apartment within the hour. Fifth, I've never actually lived in an apartment before and was concerned with ordering packages and having them delivered to us. All of my Christmas packages were delivered to the ladies in the office and held for us until we came to get them. Nothing was stolen from our front door or mailbox which I greatly appreciated. Lastly, the people that I have had the pleasure to meet are very kind and friendly. We sit at the dog park and chat while our fur babies play. All in all it's a great complex to live in. We will be considering renewing our lease provided our rent doesn't increase too much. I would recommend these apartments to any future tenants. You won't be disappointed.

Appliances are from the "scratch and dent" stores. Apt. did not look AT ALL like the one that was shown to us. And, of course, parking is horrible if you get home after 9pm. I can go on and on...just don't move here. You will be unhappy.

Excellent value. I lived here for a year before moving out for more room (got married). The location by 1960 can sometimes feel a little sketchy, but I've never had any problems personally. The complex is close to a railway crossing, so at random times you may hear a whistle, but it's not too bad. The appliances in the apartment could use some updating, but they are all in working order, and maintenance requests are fulfilled very quickly. People living here have generally been friendly, although not awfully neighborly (that's apartment living). Parking can sometimes be a bit difficult on holiday weekends. Make sure that you check with the staff when you're planning on moving, because it's easy to get stung by the required 60 day notice before vacating, even if you're at the end of a contract. That said, the staff is very helpful and professional (Melyssa and Princess).
