Greensboro is the third largest city, based on its population, in the State of North Carolina. It is located in Guilford County. The city was named after Major General Nathanael Greene. The town is an industrial mecca which continues to grow each and every day. The town has a population of between 270,000 and 300,000 people. The town is home to several colleges including Bennett College, Elon University School of Law, Greensboro College, Guilford College, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Carolina Graduate School of Divinity. So naturally there is a large student population.
