As the pictures show, the property is built on Highway 10, but also as the pictures show there is absolutely NOTHING, not even much space between the highway and the building. The noise from the highway is incredibly loud, as you might imagine, but they didn't even factor that into the design of the building. Some units are no more than 20 feet from the highway, and the best Dominium does is single pane windows. I can't understand why a company who has been in business as long as they have been would purposely do something like this. Don't even consider moving here. Noise from trucks, cars and motorcycles shouldn't be included in the rent.

They advertise that this is a senior property, but it's not. There are a lot of kids living in the building. They other part they don't advertise as a "feature" of the building is that it sits right on the highway and they did NOTHING about sound abatement to mitigate the sound of the cars, trucks and motorcycles that drive by at all hours of the day and night. As a property developer who has been in business for as long as they have, they had to know that cheap construction and poorly installed windows weren't going to cut it for the noise level that is experienced on a regular basis. They will tell you that eventually you "get used to it," but why is noise at that level something to "get used to", especially with the rent they are charging for the place. They knew they would be screwing people when they built the property the way it is, but hey, their pay is the same, so what the hell, right?
