Quiet place to live; at least as far as outside apartments in Chico can be. Free breakfast on Wednesdays! Pool, hot tub, sauna, small gym and a couple other amenities all of which are kept pretty clean.
I went to view these apartments and found bugs inside, rotting wood on the patio, it smelled like midew and ciggarets before I even...
I went to view these apartments and found bugs inside, rotting wood on the patio, it smelled like midew and ciggarets before I even stepped inside. There was an open drain in the utility closet that had obviously been Jimmy rigged- maybe that's where the mildew smell came from? The woman who showed the property came off very rude when I said I couldn't handle the smell and called me honey, which I thought was increasingly rude. After that she wouldn't speak to me, I assume customer service is not a priority as she drove off in her company care before I had even gotten into mine. Instead of assuring me things could be cleaned she shifted the blame to me, making me feel as if my desire to live in a smokeless home was unheard of, and rolling her eyes at my questions and requests. Based off the her attitude alone I will not be back.

My experience at amanda place has been great! With new managment this place seems to being running smoothly. The community is very interactive. The premises is clean and well kept with plefty of greenery making you want to open up your blinds and enjoy the view. The pool has a nice layout with all day sun. The apartment itself is open and spacious. Oh and don't forget the free breakfast on Wednesdays!

I would look around a little more before you rent at Amanda Place. I liked it when I moved in,but a few things I did not look as well as I should have. The crime is surprisingly high. The appliances are very dated, and when replaced they use the cheapest option available. They will not sign a lease, which is strange most companies want to discourage turnover. Lastly when you look at other options at the same price range they all have waiting list while Amanda Place always has multiple vacancies.

Played loud music at odd hours of the night. We did not have a quality experience for the prices we were paying.

This place is horrible , just not at first , they will be very sweet and hurry you thru the inspection upon entering , then after you only lived there 6 months , they will charge you an arm and a leg for carpet cleaning and lie about how long it took to clean a few things you forgot to clean ...i was not told there was construction that was going to happen a month after i moved in, they made a mess, and were very loud , pouring concrete on my patio , used my electricty and havent reimbursed me for the usage..they have algae growing in the spa , and just recently this week my friend wasnt told to move her car out the carport and they put down some fresh tar on the street , she got tar all over her brand new car and they only said to pay for a carwash, well that tar doesnt come out at all it needs to be painted ...the only thing i did like is that they had free breakfast in the mornings on wed and they were very nice until you had some issue that you needed handled then they change there sweetness ...i would reccomend you not going to rent at any hignell places and you rent somewhere else ....
