Lovely apartment for a student! I feel safe here with the entrance carefully guarded. They even have an awesome indoor basketball court, gym and library. They hold wonderful events for residents sometimes. Its a good opportunity to make new friends here. Hopefully, there will be more events or something like yoga classes for residents.

I stayed at the Flats in summer 2019 for a summer internship. The staff was extremely helpful with completing the paperwork and signing the lease. The rent was reasonable and the apartment was really neat. My favorite thing was the view; I lived on the 11th floor and so I could see Grant Park and the lake from my living room. In terms of location, it is very close to a train station and has a Trader Joe's very close to it (5-10 minutes). I also enjoyed the gym and the employees were very friendly and ready to help. If I have the opportunity to intern in Chicago again, I will most likely decide to move in again.

Evelyn provided an excellent and informative tour for my father and, we both really valued her time, enthusiasm, and effort. I could tell that she had a selfless mindset and has the aspiration fo put our others before herself. I am also most impressed with the facility and everything it has to offer! It honestly reminds me so much of a hotel! The demo room was set up very nicely & offered an amazing visual for what life may be like as a college student.

I would like to praise Katria Courtney from The Flats at East West. She is very informative and helpful to everyone that comes in the building. Not to mention that she knows the South Loop and can recommend things to do in your down time. The building in general is a great place to stay for dorms for being in the heart of the city. They have a great security staff, a wonderful maintenance team who always gets to your issues in a timely manner and fixes the issue. And the dorms are great! Some of the best I stayed in throughout my college years.
