My fiance & I started looking for an apartment in Blaine about two months ago now. Emberwood is BY FAR the nicest apartment complex in the area. Management was great, showed us around right away - we just walked in without an appointment! Very nice layouts, we love the convenient access to HWY 65. Having Cub Foods, Aldi, & Walmart all SO CLOSE (2 mins?) is a huge plus in our book as well. Overall, if you want to live in a NICE apartment complex in Blaine - I'd say LIVE HERE.

We just moved in a couple months ago (November 2017) and we have had a great experience thus far. Corrinne was very helpful and friendly during the process of showing us the apartment and signing the lease, and she is always happy to help with any questions that we have. Jacquie also went out of her way to make sure that we received some packages during the holiday season, which we greatly appreciated. The apartments are nice, new, and conveniently located. We were happy to find a place that accepts pets as well!

We moved in this summer for short term living, and management was very unresponsive. We moved into a brand new unit and there was baseboard missing, scratches on wall/floor and an entire section of drawers missing in the bathroom. People above us smoked on their balcony and their ashes would fall onto ours on the 1st floor.
Upon move out, they initially withheld $140 cleaning fee from our security deposit which they claimed was 4 hours worth of cleaners that were needed. We lived in a 2 bedroom, 1,000 square foot apartment; even if we left the place a disaster it wouldn't have taken 4 hours to clean. After talking through with them in detail they agreed to refund us our entire deposit.
The new management does seem better than old as it was at times hard to get a hold of management while we were living there.
