I have lived at a Redmont property in Homewood for a little over 2 years. In the past 2 years I have had very few maintenance problems. When I have they have gone above and beyond in helping me resolve any issues. I recently asked about my noisy AC unit in my bedroom that was not in the best of shape when I moved in but wasnt in need of replacing yet. In the last few months Ive noticed that while it still cooled off the space well it started making weird noises in intervals through the day. I knew this could not be efficient for my power bill or for sleep. I called the property office and just asked to have maintenance check on it. I thought a piece might need to be replaced or something simple could solve the problem. Tonight I walked in my apartment to a brand new fancy AC unit! Thank you so much for your constant efforts to make living here a great and comfortable experience! Shout out to my maintenance guy, Blake!

I lived there for 1 year (April '17 - March '18 ). Advantages : - Most Important Great Mgmt Team : They will provide all you need regarding maintenance, for every working order there's a feedback email asking if everything was fixed, super fast in replying emails, super polite - Great location : safe, secure and with some cool things to do - Great Price : Difficult to find a place that offer what you will find there. - Apartment : the 1 bed apartment was huge, and had a great illumination, closets Disadvantages: - Apartment : The kitchen was small and appliances were old (stove and refrigerator) - Heating system: The apartment doesn't have central unit, so you need to make sure if you're ok with that. The heaters are wall type. - They don't allow dogs/cats.. Summary : I've been faced terrible situations regarding apartment mgmt, and so far, this is the most competent team I've had the pleasure to work with. The apartment are old, huge and super charming, and they did a really good job with the decor. You will probably face some issues, but they will fix quickly. A great place to live.

I gave 4 stars because I do not move in until 2 weeks from now (Redmont Homewood Townhomes) BUT I will say that the staff is very friendly, helpful and patient! I was most happy about the fact that I was able to view the exact apartment I would be moving into and they looked exactly how the pictures were posted online. I will update my review within 3 months about my stay! so excited! Very close to Samford university and other popular stores! Only thing is that the parking is on a VERY busy road! Four month update below! I still love my apartment! Only down fall is that they are older so you do see little spiders but maintenance is very quick with coming out to spray or fix anything! Also they have cracks in the walls and minor things that should have been touched up with me paying $500 deposit. I don't like how the walls are very thin....you can hear you next door neighbor walking up their stairs but it sounds as if it is in my apartment. Upside is that it is one exit up from downtown and I have all wood flooring! Heat and Gas always works and I always feel safe. Police are also very quick to respond to calls. I am close to my university and it's a pretty quick neighborhood.
