Endicott College

Endicott has an unusually high rate of on-campus students, as 85% of the student body live in dorms throughout their four years here. Despite this, more than half of the students who go here have a car with them on-campus. You certainly don’t need to bring a car to get from your dorm to classes--the campus is small and walkable. But it’s nice to have one around so you can drive to cities like Boston or Worcester on the weekend. If you are part of the 15% of students looking for off-campus digs, you most likely need a car to commute. There aren’t a lot of great public transportation options to get from an off-campus rental to the school. Endicott’s campus is positioned right on the ocean, and the school owns three private beaches that are popular with students. At the beginning of the fall semester and the end of the spring semester, you will find crowds of students sunbathing and enjoying the warm weather. Endicott is also just a half hour drive from Boston. The school provides shuttle rides back and forth (although not regularly), and because more than half of the students here have a car on-campus, it’s easy to find a way to the big city. Spending a weekend in Beverly is fun, too. Endicott has an active campus nightlife, and it’s never hard to find a party on a Friday or Saturday night.

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change.
