I lived here for a year in 2016. Management was very professional, hallways and common areas were kept clean, residents were overall very nice. I really miss living here. Many other places don't offer the level of maintenance and attention to detail Walton Riverwood provides.

I've been a tenant here for about 6 months, roughly. Overall I've had a very pleasant experience and would recommend anyone interested in the area take a tour of the building. The apartments are nice and updated. Gigabit internet is also available for a very reasonable fee. The staff are excellent and responsive. They do go out of their way to make sure you have a nice home here. Work orders and requests for maintenance are carried out promptly and professionally. Neighbors are generally pleasant and I have not had any problems with noise, myself (and I am very quiet and sensitive to partying, construction, etc). Only one side of the building really receives any noise from construction (which seems to be almost done). If you are not O.K. with that, don't rent a unit on that side of the complex.

This is a long review, and I rarely ever give reviews but felt I should given some of the other comments here and to help others as they consider apartments in the area. First off, I have been so impressed with Walton Riverwood. The apartments are very nicely laid out and very nicely appointed with cabinetry, paint color and appliances that have been chosen. The common areas are decorated extremely well and make for a very comfortable and cozy environment of the whole place. The gym is very nice and I use it a lot. The pool is also great and has a nice waterfall with it that I love to listen to with my window open at night during warmer nights since my apartment overlooks the pool. There is a large grill area there by the pool too that many use but I don't. The staff are also what makes this place so great. The staff truly is the best, from the management to the maintenance personnel. Then they also have events throughout the month to bring the community together, and that is always fun and a very nice touch. I also love how the management keeps the tenants informed on items by emailing them on subjects that would be of interest to them. Other places I considered to rent didn't do this so I love the open communication of Walton Riverwood. They keep the place very clean as well, which is nice. Covered parking with gate access and then another security access to enter the building helps me feel more safe. They also have a security guard that patrols the property at night. The only negative I have experienced is that the new tenants above me I can hear as they are pretty heavy walkers. Prior to them, I didn't hear the previous tenants so I just think it is the new tenants are heavy walkers, but it isn't too bad. There is also a rooftop common area that is great to go up to look over the skyline and read a book or hang out with friends. Overall I think this is a great place to live and have been overall very impressed. They even give you a free book of the month at the beginning of every month, which is a nice touch and all the books have been great. I highly recommend this place as my experience has been great and I am renewing my lease due to the staff and how much I love my place here. I think it is worth you looking at if you're looking for a good apartment. It is even very close to the Chattahoochee where I go for walks and runs in the summer.

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews, and although things aren't 100% perfect, because that would be impossible, they do come pretty close. When I started looking for apartments, there were a lot of options, but I chose Walton Riverwood because it does feel like home. The apartments are very comfortable, and I love the layout, and features. They are very pet friendly, and although there are those owners that don't pick up after their dogs like they should, that is everywhere, unfortunately, and a reflection of those lazy owners (when there are bags in a couple places that are free). The monthly books are a nice feature, and the reimbursement for area attractions is very generous. The daily breakfast during the week I don't think is a feature that is offered at most places! I love the gym because it has a lot of variety and is kept very clean. Overall, the grounds are landscaped beautifully and the courtyard area with the fountain/pond is really nice, along with the pool area. I have found most of the people who live here to be very friendly, welcoming, and I genuinely feel safe living here. I can't recommend living here enough...as long as you want a sense of community. If you don't ever want to get to know your neighbors, don't care about taking advantage of all the activities, and what the landscaping is like, maybe this isn't the best place for you. Personally, I love it.

Living at this apartment has so many perks. The space being about 3 years old still feels brand new and shiny and truly embodies the 'resort style living' it promotes. The community spaces are gorgeous and so well maintained from the pool that's cleaner year-round, to the electric fire place and grills, rooftop patio, club room, and courtyard. The staff are truly wonderful people and are so patient and willing to help. The social aspect can't get much better - with Tina the housekeeper providing grab n' go breakfast each weekday morning and the Cares Team community events a few times per month there's no shortage of personal connections and community. The location is so convenient being situated right near the highway and every shop and restaurant you can imagine. I have no complaints and am very happy at Walton Riverwood!
