Lease started 4 days ago however only slept here 2 nights and things just keep getting worse. move in day I walk into a carpet that is soaked, stained, and super smelly couldn't move anything into the room. Staff told me they would try and have someone clean it and send up a fan. (they did say previous tenant did not move out on time so they were rushed to get it ready for my move in) Maintenance guy was super nice, and recommended I ask for a new carpet after seeing it. They were good about getting me the replacement after I asked and I had it put in the next day. I then had to remove in the next day which was very inconvenient and cost me twice the amount because I had to come back another day instead of getting it all done the one day not to mention I had all my utilities transferred for that day but was unable to even be in the apartment. luckily, I had a place I could sleep for the night.
Do not waste your money here I have already seen numerous German roaches as well as what I believe was a bed bug (I have been fortunate to never have seen these before, in person) and I have endured multiple bites from just the 2 nights I’ve slept here. After telling the staff yesterday about the roaches they were pretty rude (Julia the manager has been nice so far when I talk with her, she is just not always there) and only are able to get pest control to come 5 days after, (it’s a holiday weekend and they are scheduled once a week) however, that gives enough time for this problem to only get worse, and everything I have can technically be contaminated at this point if I have to move. Save your money and live somewhere cheaper if you would like to share your apartment with bed bugs and roaches. I’m relatively new to ATL and guess this is a common problem (As staff said to me "well this is Georgia" when telling her of the roaches and asking if there was any way to get someone out sooner to spray. I specifically did my research and this place has no mention of these bugs which I find very odd, I have never lived with a roach or bed bug before so this has become a pretty stressful situation, I never write reviews but I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through this without being forewarned if possible, and there really are no reviews for this complex on these issues to warn people. (I am writing this at 4am because I am so uncomfortable I cannot sleep here).
