I would love to leave a better review but unfortunately had a mixed experience living here and we are leaving after 1 year.
CONS: God-speed if you live in the unit we had. We had absolute nightmare neighbors upstairs, blasting music at all odd hours or all kinds of other disruptions. We let management know on several occasions but nothing was done. In fact we had to face-to-face confront these neighbors on several occasions and still nothing changes. By the way, they aren't leaving. Management generally not that helpful and many times don't answer the phone. Half of gym equipment has not worked in the past 1 year. Maintenance issues being fixed has been hit or miss for us.
PROS: the community is clean, newer building, amazing grocery store and Butter Cafe walking distance.
For the amount paid in rent, I would expect this experience to have been different.

I love this community at Avalon! I have wonderful neighbors and everyone in the community is kind, friendly and helpful. I want to give special recognition to Veronica in the Leasing office and David in maintenance! They are always very attentive to any concerns and repairs that are needed. They are patient friendly helpful yet always maintain professionalism in all aspects of their job. I cant say enough nice things about either one of them David and Veronica.. you both rock! Keep up the excellent job! Love living here, thank you for keeping the community clean safe and feeling like home .

I've been here now for almost 4 years (that should say something lol). The place is obviously super nice but the service is 100% phenomenal as well! Veronica (the Service Manager) is absolutely great! She is responsive, kind, patient, empathetic and consistent! She's always been so helpful when it comes to the requests I've needed throughout the seasons as a resident here. So thankful to have her.

My second time living at Avalon SD, continued to be fantastic. Small quiet community with an amazing attentive staff. Ellie and Veronica are regularly available for any questions both . David in maintenance is quick to work on a resolution when you have a problem.
The pool area and kids playground are great.
Veronica and David are very helpful informative and are always there to answer your questions. High quality customer service
