Great location, right next to trax, mostly full of University students. This is my second time living here. As opposed to the first time, they have made improvements such as the renovations, better staff, and updated parking garage...but thats about it! If you enjoy peace and quiet, DONT move in because this is a concrete building so EVERYTHING ECHOES...you can hear every door, cabinet & drawer opened, closed, slammed... every thing dropped on the floor, loud music...basically everything from youre neighboring apartments (aka everyone on your floor and your neighbors 5 floors above/below you), and let me tell you its super disturbing and occurs way more often than youd think. There is no escape. I personally dont enjoy listening to my neighbors stomping around and not being sure which neighbor it even is. Also the laundry room is gross and you have to pay $3 for each load, and sometimes the dryers dont dry your clothes all the way so add on another $1.50.

Okay! So after 3 years, i gave this apartment another chance. So lets start here, they have shifted out the old staff and have a whole new crew running the show. And honest to God, i love em. They listen to your concerns, they work to make sure you are happy, they are genuine.... and they DON'T TOW YOUR CAR FOR NO REASON. Story time. I lived in this apartment building 4 years ago, and the old staff would tow my car for no reason. i would be parked in my own spot, with my tag obviously displayed, and still got towed. Then they had the gall to say "that sucks, pay the fee and we will release your car". But that was the old. This building i have always liked, but the old staff was the reason i left. Once i heard that they had in fact vacated the building, i came right back. So... lets make it simple.

These new guys have made this old building look new again, but kicking their crew in gear and finishing up the renovations, they are kind... which you would be surprised how little some people think is worth, and accessibility. They say i will move to new floor in 3 months that never came true I was there 3 years and the renovation it's so cheap not worth the price, Plus the leaks are constant The power outages and the hot water and cold water. And the management it's terrible. Plus no parking if friends come over and they got towing truck on clock. And that's just a few that I remember on top of my head.

Please do not move in to the Landing apartment building under any circumstances. The price is way too high, especially for the quality, the staff couldn't seem to care less about the lack of genuine effort that is being put into this old building that has "supposedly been renovated it". The room they show you on the tour will not be anything like the room that you get. Fire alarms going off randomly and frequently with a recorded women's voice repeating to evacuate the building immediately are a common occurrence, even as late as 11:30 at night. The staff is friendly, however I feel like they are in the same position as my roommate and I: just wishing that I hadn't gotten into this lease. It's hard to try and make this unfortunate situation a good one when you are also paying $3.00 per load of laundry. I don't have anything against the employees of The Landing and I truly believe that they are good people, however the lack of honesty about room assignments and the frequent issues are too much. In conclusion, I am sure this apartment building can one day be a really great place to live, due to the location and views, however as of right now under current management, I wouldn't recommend anyone to ever step foot in The Landing. The construction is a joke too... like real bad.
