Lake Butte des Morts is a 8,581 acre, shallow freshwater lake with a maximum depth of 9 feet. The lake is known for its excellent fishing particularly for walleye, northern pike, and perch as well as boating, water skiing, and other recreational activities.

The space
This cozy two bedroom cottage has everything you need conveniently located on one level with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, dining area, living room, and bathroom. While the garage is off limits to guests, there is ample parking in the driveway and a front row seat to the lake off the rear of the house.

Guest access
This unit has a private entry door for contactless check-in. The door code will be sent to you at 3:00 PM on the day prior to your check-in. Early check-in may be available for an additional fee.

Other things to note
Please note that due to the varying length of stays at this property, we do not provide continuous disposable items such as soaps/detergents/cleaning chemicals, trash bags, coffee filters, spices/cooking oil, or paper products. The unit is fully furnished with linens, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen.

There is a fire pit on the property. Guests must supply their wood and the fire must be completely extinguished after each use.

The property has well water that may have an "egg" smell. While it is perfectly safe to drink and use, we recommend bringing bottled water if you are not accustomed to well water.
