My boyfriend and I signed a year lease on April '14, which we later found out was a biggest mistake. When we looked at Pinebrooks, every associates was very nice and helpful. Chairmane who showed us the unit that we were getting was very sweet and nice, but unfortunately she was a temp hired from an agency, that when we moved in to the apt, she wasn't there anymore. Chairmane explained to us when we looked at the unit, that Pinebrook is under renovation on changing kitchen appliances, installing new carpets, and installing washer and dryer. She also stated that if we sign a lease soon, we will be locked in to the old price, because rent prices are due to changed after the renovations. She also stated that on top of being locked in to the old price, we will be getting a washer and dryer also. --Very convincing! We signed the lease quick! Right after moving in, we encoutered so many issues. We called several times to check on the Washer and Dryer, spoke to Heather and she said she will look in to it since Chairmane has been moved to a different state is no longer working for Pinebrooks, Heather said she will give me a call back. And I never got a call back from Heather. So, my boyfriend and I finally decided to let go of the washer and dryer we were promised. We did not have a choice but use the Laundromat in the complex. And it's terrible. Washer and Dryer are always broken, or they will eat your quarters, and you will be left with perhaps wet clothes and no quarters to finish your laundry. Your parking spots will always be taken with random non residents car.During summer, we found a bunch of centipedes through out our apartments. Although they claimed to spray the apt, but even after spraying, we will still find centipedes. Right after we moved in, power outlets are not working. Also, we are supposed to get Military discount, which we later found out that we are not getting any sort of discount at all. A friend of mine that lives in the same complex and has the same unit is paying the same rent amount as we do. So, no. No discounts. Pinebrook recently changed their management. We did not receive any notifications at all that they're changing management, rather we received a letter when the changed was made. On top of that they stated on the letter that there is no grace period on rent payments anymore. Again, no prior notifications. With the new management, it took them almost 3weeks to cash in our rent checks that another rent is about to be due, and we have no idea what was going on. I called the office for 3days straight, finally got someone on the phone, spoke with the manager Crsytal Morrison. She stated that with the new management, they also got a new bank, and they were in the process of transitioning every thing to the new bank. --Again, no prior notifications that there will be a delay on cashing in our checks. She even lectured me with "If you have the money in the bank, you shouldn't be worried when we will cash your check in". She also did not apologized at any point that we were worried about our $700 worth of check. Also, expect 2-3weeks if there is something that you needed to be fix in your apt. Or call a billion times for follow up, if you can do it, you might as well do yourself a favor and do it yourself. There is a lot more issues we've encountered since we moved in to Pinebrooks. To anybody who's the market for a new apt, please do not consider Pinebrooks. They might get friendly with you, but don't bite into it, becase this place is nothing but a waste of money. I am forced to give this place a one star rating, otherwise I won't be able to post this review if I don't click a damn star.
