Nothing but problems since moving in. Stairs to the basement are carpeted and smell like dog feces & vomit, even after two carpet cleanings....

Nothing but problems since moving in. Stairs to the basement are carpeted and smell like dog feces & vomit, even after two carpet cleanings. There is an insect issues that they can't seem to fix. The town houses don't have screen doors unless the renter decides to purchase and install one, as if WE should have to, but insects crawl right in through the front door and also come in through a one foot wide hole in our basement ceiling that goes out to a fake chimney. Other things enter our dwelling through the hole, like wild animals. We sometimes hear noises down there and keep finding acorns so squirrels are obviously sharing our town home with us along with who knows what else. That makes going down to do our laundry a scary experience, we don't know what we are going to encounter, unless it rains, then we know there will be a kiddy pool and river we have to cross to get to our washer and dryer do the the crack in the basement wall that goes from floor to ceiling. Our bathroom fans are incredibly loud, make metal grinding noises, and shake the floors and ceilings which is obviously not good. Power goes out a lot and permanently damages surge protectors, extension cords, devices plugged in directly to walls, etc, leading one to think there are wiring issues. And so much more but this is long enough. They have deleted and marked work orders as completed when zero maintenance has been performed so I guess we are paying almost $1700.00/month to be stuck with these problems. I'm going to get an inspection done on this place and seek legal counsel. This can't continue.
