very nice place to stay - we just moved. we are enjoying the great design of our apartment, swimming pool, gym. But I have only one issue - leasing office is not responding to my e-mails on rental amount for September, as was promised it should be 1/2 price for the first month, but the system shows the remaining balance of the full monthly rent. The managers were responding quickly until we signed the contract, now it is hard to get any answer. please help us.

Insider tip: you can book a guest suite in the main building if you ever have friends or family visit! It's cheaper than a hotel, and they can be right there with you.

The new management supervisor is seemingly responsive to complaints/issues of residents. But, the owners (who are self-appointed on the board) as well as the customer/concierge services are extremely rude and need to be sent home. [However, some of the maintenance staff (Keith and Steve) are professional, and are to be commended]. Hence, first check with fellow residents and don't be impetuous in moving to this over-rated premises.

One star... do you guys realize that many apt people actually have to go to laundrymats and don't even have that basic stuff in unit? Bad amenities? It's got a pool, a gym, above and underground parking, a /ton/ of decent nearby restaurants, is /right/ by a grocery, liquorstore, and Starbucks, sits on the bus route, and is a straight-shot 15 minute walk to Cleveland park where there is the metro and /more/ restauraunts. In unit everything is present, pretty much. If this place has bad amenities, I'd like to hear what good ones are. Or hell, even what you think average ones are... Have lived here many years. It has issues, not the least of which is a finicky set of pipes or something. They work on them all the time (on top floor at least), and have had it leak through my roof once. Water is cut more than I'd like, but far from constantly. Mail usually takes an extra day to register. Some staff is obnoxious (though some are really nice). It's overpriced (but what isn't it here). Maintenance will get called for you, but not always as fast as ideal. So yeah. It has flaws. But the rooms are nice, the location is phenomenal, the top floor view from my half of the building is great, most of the staff is great, it's got a Starbucks /right/ below which is a godsend for me (and a grocery across the street, which is equally useful if not as nice as whole foods)... I don't know how anyone could give this one star unless they were just trying to impact the rating. Which, to be fair, is exactly why I'm going with five. My actual rating would be closer to 3.5. Rounded to four if being generous, which I probably would be. Edit: Will agree that the new concierge is worse than prior. This only minimally troubles me, as my interactions are limited to perfunctory waves, getting mail, and - on occasion - having them help me in if I forget my key. They still do that well enough. There has been an ant problem as well, although none presently in my unit.
