I love the close proximity to Xavier University and the modern appliances and "feel" to the apartment. However, I have had serious maintenance issues that cannot be overlooked.
My washing machine was broken for the first 2 months I lived here. It would destroy clothing during the spin cycle and was incredibly loud. After one incident of my clothes ripping, I immediately notified the office and the issue was not resolved until 2 months later. Our wifi signal was incredibly weak and the 4 people who lived there often could not be on the internet all at the same time. This was finally solved after multiple attempts to get someone to listen to us. Currently, our cable is not functional and has been this way for a few weeks. I have been told that the issue will be resolved either tomorrow or Monday (fingers crossed). However, I am not optimistic because I have been told that the issue will be fixed several times and yet we still have no functioning cable.
Overall, the staff is relatively nice and seems to do their best in getting the issues resolved. The main issue seems to be that management changes every few months and when it changes, I feel like my issues get ignored.
I do enjoy living there, for the most part, but if you are moving in be aware that you need to be very aggressive about getting issues resolved. Otherwise, they will likely be ignored for extended periods of time.
